It has 2 straps that secure it to the seat; one for around the headrest and one for around the base of the seat. I love this feature- as it keeps the unit securely in place, unlike other units I have used in the past that do not include a lower strap.The pockets are roomy and hold much more than one would assume when first opening the package.I love that my daughter's toys and books (and even an emergency pack of wipes and a diaper) can all be stored in this organizer rather than tumbling around on the floor of the car. My daughter is also able to reach the toys/books stored in the upper compartments. This saves me a lot of headaches when we're driving and she decides she wants something different to play with. It was well made and looked great.I did have a little issue with the net holder on top. I contacted the seller and they were awesome on how they handled everything. I would definitely recommend ordering form this company. The different sized pockets worked great for her sippy, some wipes, toys, pacifier, books and a few toys. It also seems very well made and I really think this will last us a long time. The only thing I would change would be the bottom strap was a tight fit and we ended up not using it and just using the top strap.
