We used two strands for our daughters swings for extra safety in case of craziness. We just used one strand to hang a porch swing from for us to enjoy. We covered as much of the Cable as we could with soaker hose/garden hose to prevent wear from the swings, as well as protect from the weather. We would definitely buy this product again. HIGHLY recommend using swages or crimps, as opposed to the little u-bolt clamps. We tried a set of the clamps for convenience, but they were useless, if not dangerous. Heavy Duty for sure, but for my grandkids zip line it's course and by that I mean that the cable is made up of larger wire so it makes the trip down the zip line bumper and with more noise than the last line I purchased.
