The internal spacers for the parallels are made of a very soft foam-like material that failed to hold the parallels in place during shipping, so some of them were scattered around in the box, and the foam was all distorted. Whether it will regain its shape remains to be seen. I think the box would have been better and more effective with wood separators. They arrived clean and free of rust and dings. Each pair was wrapped separately in oiled paper. The internal spacers for the parallels are made of a very soft foam-like material that failed to hold the parallels in place during shipping, so some of them were scattered around in the box, and the foam was all distorted. Whether it will regain its shape remains to be seen. I had to stone off every corner on all of them before I could handle them. ### ⭐ Arrived with rust on edges! *by J***R on April 17, 2019* Got these today and started to unwrap them and clean off the rust preventative but saw on 4 of them there was rust on the precision surfaces! Not just a little either. I tried cleaning them with wd40, then acetone without any luck. There was also rust in the mounting holes but that isn't as big of deal as on the edges. I'm currently soaking them in oil in the hopes it can be cleaned enough to be able to use them but the rust has built up high enough to easily feel with your nail so I'm not very confident. These did arrive coated in oiled paper so I believe the rust either wasn't fully ground off the raw material or they sat untreated before being wrapped for packaging, either way, not good. I haven't even gotten to measuring them yet for flatness and parallelism. Disappointed as there are not many 5" options.
