Description
The young Bowie has just escaped from prison with two other inmates. In the hideout where they take refuge, lives Keechie, a young girl who soon feels attracted to Bowie. Shortly after robbing a bank with his fellow prisoners, Bowie has a car accident; his colleague Chickamaw shoots the policeman who responds to the crash and they both flee. In the crashed car, the police find Bowie's gun and he is forced to embark on a aimless escape. Keechie accompanies him. One night, traveling by bus, they take advantage of a stop to get married. Later, they rent a cabin in the mountains where they hope to live in peace. But destiny is written, and it will be impossible to evade it.
