Don't buy the Minion Perler Bead kits!
Just stock up on Yellow, and get a multi-pack of the other colors (or build your stock of colors like I did). This works with Superman patterns too. I usually get 6000 of the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and values (white & black). It's easy to think "oh, I'll NEVER use that many beads". This kind of thinking is both wrong and stupid. What's the matter with you? just kidding. It's been said that you can never have too much of a great thing. While I don't specifically believe that (Lobster every night would still get gross after a while), I do believe in being prepared. I'd much rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. Also, seeing 6,000 of any one thing is wicked satisfying!!! If you're thinking about buying this product, DO IT!!! come on, you know you wanna...

Glow in the dark beads are really cool!!
I run a daycare and over summer we had a bunch of school aged kids here. They loved making things out of beads, and I usually had at least 5 creations to melt on a daily basis. Even the younger children enjoyed doing them, and one of the 5 year old boys got his mom to get some at home too because he enjoyed them so much. We found that the 3 and 4 year olds liked to just fill in their shaped boards with whatever colors they liked, while the 5s and up made patterns and looked for specific colors to fill in their shaped boards. I had to give everybody a few glow in the dark beads to use in their projects, because at first everybody was only taking glow in the dark beads and not using any other colors. If you only want to buy 1 color, these may be the ones you should get! :-)

Work great and a good deal
Thursday night my daughter ran out of a few Perler bead color white beaming one of them. I jumped online and found the 6000 pack. Got then Saturday morning. Super quick shipping. 6000 may seem like alot of perler beads. But they go quickly. So such a great deal.

Ha llegado cerrado y a tiempo, pero no son Perler Mini, si no MIDI. Deberíais cambiarlo en la descripción. A mi no me importa porque uso los dos tamaños pero no anunciais lo que después se recibe.

I wanted to make some snowflake decorations for Christmas, and originally thought I'll just cut them out of folded paper when I came across some blog with photos of Perler beads' creations. Before that, I didn't even know Perler existed... So, this was my very first Perler experience, and I must admit this stuff is addictive :) I started with a couple of boards and a 6000 count of white beads, and am currently awaiting shipment of several other colors (incl. metallics). The process is very straightforward - place the beads on the pegs of the board(s), then carefully iron them through the enclosed parchment-like ironing paper, and admire your creation. Some trial end error has taken place, and not all my snowflakes are perfectly fused; some look a little blobish, but I'm getting better with each new one. Plus, I am not locked into any specific design, so this really is a lot of fun, and a really relaxing hobby.
