Great Combo for Note-Taking: Case, Pen & Screen Protector
This review covers three accessories I purchased together, as they all contribute to creating a more minimalist, focused setup for research and note-taking on the Samsung Tab S10 Lite: -Staedtler Noris Jumbo EMR Pen -Bellemond Kent Paper (magnetic, removable screen protector) -Timovo Magnetic Folio Case I bought the tablet itself separately (Argos, using a gift card), but these accessories were all sourced from Amazon. My goal was to create a distraction-free device for reading and writing. I installed Niagara Launcher, reduced animations, and disabled features like DeX to keep the experience clean and responsive. Staedtler Noris Jumbo EMR Pen The standard Samsung S Pen is good, but I wanted something thicker and slightly heavier. The Staedtler Jumbo feels great in the hand and maybe(?) has some wood in it. Anyway, longer writing sessions are more comfortable. The built-in eraser (simply flip the pen) is particularly convenient and works reliably. Writing feels smooth and consistent. I may experiment with different nibs in future, but out of the box it performs very well. Timovo Magnetic Folio Case This is a well-made, slim case that attaches magnetically to the tablet. The magnetic hold has been questioned in some reviews, but in my experience it’s secure enough for everyday use. It keeps the device lightweight and easy to handle, which suits a minimalist setup. The folio clasp holds the Staedtler Jumbo comfortably. Which is required as the pen is not magnetic. Bellemond Kent Paper Screen Protector I chose the magnetic version mainly to avoid the usual frustration of applying permanent screen protectors. Installation is simple and reversible, which is a major advantage. It adds a noticeable “paper-like” texture when writing. It may not perfectly replicate premium options like Paperlike, but for my use, notes and research, it’s more than sufficient and far more forgiving to take on and off when needed. Overall Together, these three accessories have transformed the Samsung Tab S10 Lite into a focused, enjoyable writing and research device. In short: Folio case: portability and usability Pen: comfort and writing experience Screen protector: improved tactile feedback

Works well with picky Remarkable 2
My Marker Pen Plus broke around the nibble collar due to poor design. I was not going to spend £120 for an expensive, overpriced piece of cr#p! Tried a number of EMR pens which did not work. This marker is lovely, nice and wide grip, and writes with a fine line. Eraser works like a charm too. No magnet, so you'll need the right case. Bargain at less than 1/3 price and excellent value product! Hopefully it will hold up well!

My favourite EMR stylus with digital erase - works great with Onyx Boox Note Air 2
The classic traditional pencil design and look of this EMR stylus is what sets it off from others. It's a little thicker than many other pen stylus but feels extremely comfortable and natural in the hand. It does appear to be made of wood and weighs about 10g. On the tip you have a standard EMR nib which writes extremely smoothly on my Onyx Book Note Air 2 e-paper screen, it's like using a soft pencil! You also get 5 spare nibs and a removal tool in the pack, but after nearly 2 years of regular use I am still using the original nib. On the opposite end of the pencil is medium firm rubber feeling digital eraser. This works brilliantly with my Onyx tablet, you simply flip the pencil in your hand to erase from the page - no buttons needed. The pencil does not require any batteries or charging. The triangular design of the body helps it from rolling off smooth surfaces. Staedtler also do a thinner, more standard pencil sized stylus but that one does not have the digital eraser feature. Overall this is definitely my favourite stylus for writing, and I have a few! The jumbo feels natural and comfortable in the hand and the digital eraser is a time saver (instead of having to keep selecting the erase feature on the tablet). It also feels just like a natural pencil eraser when rubbing on the screen. Important: Make sure you check compatability before buying an EMR stylus. This will NOT work on an iPad, your tablet must use EMR type styli.

Works brilliantly, but eraser is easily lost.
The is a great product, provided you can kep hold of the eraser section at the end. This works really well on my Onyx Booknote, and it's a huge advantage having an eraser at the end that works without having to change settings as you work (just turn around and erase anything you just wrote onscreen.) However, the glue that holds the eraser section on isn't good. I replaced my previous one of these because I lost the eraser, and now, a week or so after taking deliver of this replacement, the eraser section has come loose again, so it looks like that's a design or manufacturing flaw. Hopefully the No More Nails I used will keep it in place, because £40+ is a lot of money to replace an eraser!

Works perfectly! Great value. Eraser is a real bonus!
So I recently purchased the Remarkable 2, after a long period of soul searching (do I really need another electronic device) and getting to terms with the cost of something which does nothing else but mimic your notebook. I baulked at paying for their pen, especially for the one with the eraser. Searched around and came across this. It is fully compatible with the Remarkable 2. I love it because... First of all, I love the design. It is exactly like the old fashioned Noris pencils kids use in school. Secondly, while I don't think it feels exactly like a pencil in your pen (it has a somewhat 'rubbery' feel, not wood) it has the weight and girth of a Noris pencil. This is the jumbo one, and it fits well in the hand. Thirdly, it writes beautifully. Now, when I first used it, I was slightly disappointed at first. There appeared to be a lag and it felt like a pencil writing. I had wanted the feel of a pen on paper, not pencil. I had expected the Noris to mimic a pen and then kicked myself thinking that of course a Noris digital would mimic a Noris pencil. However, if you toggle between the different settings on the Remarkable itself, you can select, calligraphy pen, ballpoint, rollerball etc etc and different thickness of nibs. It was amazing. The Noris works incredibly well on the pen settings, and has slightly less lag than when it was on the pencil setting - to me anyway. The eraser works well. No need to rub hard - just a slight brush - a very tiny lag and the mark disappears. I am very pleased with this - set up for simply - just use immediately. No need to pair or anything like that. Great value, considering that digital pens with the eraser function are much more expensive.

Great for traditional artists, sensory issues. However is overpriced for the overall function.
Brilliant product. I have sensory issues and using a wood stylus is absolutely amazing, the texture isn’t overwhelming, it’s weighted perfectly. Styluses tend to be too light or draw too smooth to get a real sensation of drawing, the stylus has a good amount of smoothness vs friction against the screen to be able to draw accurately as you would a pencil on paper. As an artist who is used to traditional materials, it’s probably the best piece of tech I own. Works flawlessly with my Galaxy Tab for digital art, weighted perfectly, works smoothly. Pretty much impeccable response between stylus and the tablet. Prefer it over the “smart” stylus that came with the tablet, as for me all of the buttons and functions are far too overwhelming. Simple and minimalist, does what you need it to do, no accidental clicking of buttons which would otherwise ruin your drawing/work. Nice and minimalist but does what is says on the tin. The nostalgia factor as well is brilliant, I had an awful habit in school of biting the end of my pencils when I was trying to think, and it’s weirdly enough come back ever since I bought this. I think that just kinda speaks to how accurate this is to the OG pencil. My ONLY issue with it, is that it snapped very easily in two when it rolled off of my desk. Very easy fix with a bit of superglue as the place it snapped was entirely wood, slightly past the internal mechanics. Bit sad about that but very easily fixed. Would have liked it to be sturdier for the price point. I think it is a bit overpriced for how minimalist the actual stylus is, purely because it doesn’t come with any other functions than as a basic stylus (no eraser tool etc.) and the fragility of it. I think the price point is based off of the design and nostalgia of it.

Good Pen, Writes well, nice nib but fell apart
I've now had this pen for over 3 months. Good: The size of the pen fits into the palm of your hand well, and as a writing stylus for your RM2 it feels solid, crisp and smooth with better nibs then those that come with the RM2's pen -- I subbed out the RM2 Pen Nib for a Staedtler one as that nib wore out in 10 days. The Staedtler nib has held solid on both pens and I have not had a problem with my RM2 original pen's nib since. The 'rubber'/ erasing instrument a top the pen comes in handy, works well and feels like you're really rubbing something out. Not so Good: As it is slightly larger then normal you cannot house it in similar locations to the RM2 pen -- e.g. in the folio or the standard pen pouches easily. Being non magnetic it does not stick to the RM2. Bad: The build quality is poor. The top of the pen (the black part) detached within 2 weeks. My 8 year old daughter managed to detach the red part by mistake within 2 months -- not difficult -- which resulted in me having to sellotape the top part of the pen. It continues to deteriorate with the pen coming apart as I removed it from it's case. Conclusion: Overall good writing instrument but poorly built. I doubt it will last me longer then another 3 - 6 months. So not ideal for a £40 pen.

Superb with Remarkable 2! Highly Recommended!
This Staedtler Norris Jumbo pencil is a fantastic stylus for the Remarkable 2. The pencil looks like a jumbo HB pencil in it's design which is not only quirky but super stylish! Writing and drawing with this pencil is a pleasure, paper like texture and feel, smooth and crisp lines. The writing angle is also superb - i had a different brand of pencil which did not work with my angle of writing, however this Norris pencil works just fine with my steep angle. The built in eraser function also works very well - just flip the pencil and use the built in eraser tool to 'rub out' any mistakes you have made. Pencil shading is excellent, again, very good angle for light pressure work. The weight feels a tad light, but it is great too hold and the triangular design provides a comfortable grip. If you have a Remarkable 2 then i can not recommend this product enough - order one you honestly will not regret it!
