The outer cover can be washed. We recommend the following: Take your pillow out and massage it for 1-2 minutes and let it sit out for 12 hours so the memory foam can expand. You can also place the pillow in the dryer for 10-20 minutes to fluff it up even more. Memory foam becomes softer with a high temperate. When your pillow needs washed, just take the cover off and put it in the washer on cold and then place it in the dryer.
