It is only a few feet high. Unless you plan on sitting down while you press your clothes, the stand is totally worthless. We attempted to use the steam function and it did not work. We read through the troubleshooting instructions but still could not get it to work. The manual DOES NOT provide any contact information for technical support. There is no phone number or email address. We assumed we might have gotten a defective unit so we returned it to Amazon and requested a replacement. Upon receiving the replacement unit, we set it up and again attempted to use the steam function. It DID NOT WORK. The user booklet does not match the actual unit. Some of the instructions refer to controls that are not present on the unit, etc. Certain indicators blink on the control panel and beeping can be heard but the user booklet does not explain what any of these signals mean. We spent some more time trying the troubleshooting recommendations but still could not get the steam function to work. The user booklet says to take the unit to a service center if the troubleshooting does not work. This essentially means the manufacturer provides ZERO post-purchase support. Unfortunately we had to return it to Amazon yet again. Sadly the press seems like it would do a good job if only the steam function would work. But with a total lack of manufacturer support and a poorly written and incomplete user booklet, we CANNOT recommend this press.
