Viking Axe of Ragnar Lothbrok - Battle Ready (Viking Axe)

If you are looking for a nice replica piece for decoration, this is a great item for it. Just got it today and it looks great. The wood looks weathered and so does the axe head, which to me gives it a nice historical feel. I was afraid the wrapping on the bottom would be larger than I would like, but I am happy to say that my fears were put to rest when I opened the package. Also, the item was nicely packed & secured.

My daughters challenged me to a dress up competition for this year’s Renaissance Festival. So I bought this for a Viking costume. Good craftsmanship and looks great. Not sure it’s battle ready but great for dress up or a show piece.

As someone who watches the show Vikings, I can confirm this is a pretty spot-on replica for Ragnar's axe. It comes pre-sharpened to a very fine edge and the weight and balance is perfect for the type of weapon. The only issue I have is that the cutting edge was not properly heat treated or hardened and will not hold up in any sort of "battle" for very long.

This axe was way better than I imagined, especially for such a good price, I am extremely happy with the craftsmanship of this piece.

It's beautiful craftsmanship. The only complaint I have is the blade guard is hard to secure. It was not secure when I receive this as a gift. This ax is the real deal.

Very sharp and very good for the price

First time buying an axe online, and was very leery. I read the reviews and did not expect perfection and if you don’t either then this will do. The haft is wrapped in very cheap leather, so much so I will be reworking in come spring. The axe head is new with minimal sharpening just enough to hurt an assailant but not razor sharp to be sure. Good weight and ok balance. It will take a bit to get used to swinging it about to find break points. I’m sorry to say that mine came with a slight curve to the haft which barely noticeable does impact it’s performance. The head is solid and seated well. As I intend to use this for practice and for home defense this little item will do fine with a few home tweaks.

I bought this product as a gift. Awesomely made with quality workmanship. Make no mistake, this is a weapon that could hurt someone, but makes for a great memorabilia gift!

Very good replica of a Viking axe at an excellent price. Delivered fast and in perfect condition. Very sturdy and a nice solid blade. Got this more for cosplay than combat. Not sure I'd risk smashing it against a shield but it feels like it could take some treatment.

I ordered this based on reviews I had read, and I have to say i am very pleased! The construction is solid and well-made, the head is set in place very well, and the edge is sharp! The craftsmanship and skill is evident the moment you hold it. This thing truly could belong to a Viking of old. Believe me, if you had to use this in battle, it would be a skull-splitter for sure. The haft itself is a good, solid, piece of wood and I am very happy to add it to my growing armoury of replica medieval weapons. I highly recommend this axe without hesitation.

Looks right out of the Vikings Tv show . I am really impressed by the attention to detail , and customer service was incredible. I am going to have these on display, but they do feel solid in your hands ( got two ) . I would say they are about 4lbs each. They also come with a very nice axe head leather cover.
