Excellent for fine motor skills!!
This is a great toy for my 3 year old and 1 year old. I bought this toy not knowing how well both of them might like it. Toys are sort of hit and miss in my household. I started looking into more educational toys lately to help my 3 year old with her focus and really to gauge where she is on her milestones. I have had this over a week and it has been the toy that is played with the most. I had to guide my 3 year old to string one or two blocks and she got it from there and played with it for a long while, which is longer than the time she spent playing with other toys. I think it brings the creativity out of the kids on what you can string with the beads and it helps with their fine motor skills. Most of all, it was FUN. As for my 1 year old, we are not stringing yet but this helps her to sharpen her fine motor skills as she grabs on to the blocks and I use it as a fun tool to introduce colors and shapes. The shapes are big enough so there is no worry about choking hazard for small children. However, one down side of this toy is that the string, if not used properly could cause strangulation. It is not a problem in our household because I make sure to be there when they play, in particularly this toy, and put it away when they are done playing. Other than that, this is a great toy and it comes with a drawstring bag for proper storage and easy carry.

Great learning toy from Education Treasures
I purchased 2 of the Jumbo Primary Stringing Bead Set by Skoolzy from Education Treasures. One was for my granddaughters (ages 4 & 2) and a great niece (age 3). All 3 love it! It's one of the first toys they go get to play with. I like seeing them play with other things besides electronics, as many kids do now. Seeing the dexterity and coordination the 2 year old developed so quickly was very impressive! Thanks for making such a great learning toy! I do reviews on things I buy & even though this is for a promotion, I would have done it anyway because I appreciate truthful reviews to help me in my purchases. I've included a picture of my 2 year old granddaughter & 3 year old great niece having fun with the beads! I wanted to edit my review. As I stated above I do reviews on things without being offered anything usually. This company, Education Treasures, sent me an email after I did my review with a message saying "Do you want another kids toy for free" in the subject box. I amended my review to go along with the message in the email of adding that the toy was purchased from Education Treasures and I sent them a copy of my review. I never received the toy so wrote to them. Long story short, it was many emails later with going back and forth them saying they don't give toys, but send thank you gifts (which was stickers or a blow up world globe). The email with the line of "Do You Want Another Kids Toy for Free" was very misleading. Their email to me stated "We apologize if the wording in the email was confusing as we are working to clarify our email to reflect the proper purpose of what we are referring to". I felt it only fair for me to edit my review to include this information for other buyers in case they get the same email that I received and think they will be getting a toy similar to what was purchased. That being said, the Skoolzy beads are wonderful and the girls still love playing with them. There wasn't an issue with the toy at all. Just as I was writing this edited review I received another email from Education Treasures and now they will send an actual toy out for all the confusion over the past few months of going back and forth. I was going to take off 1 star but it was not because there was anything wrong with the toy, it was of the issue with the company I bought the toy from. I decided not to take the star away because the toy is great and the review is really of the toy. The company, Education Treasures sent it out right away and really the only issue with them was their false message of offering a new toy if you followed their steps in your review to make sure to mention you got the toy from them. It took a long time to finally get the toy offered, but they did finally come through.

Fun, challenging, good variety!
My daughter is almost 2.5 with no known learning disabilities. We plan to homeschool and have already implemented learning play. We wanted some beads to help her with dexterity, colors, and shapes while being fun. These were a hit right out of the bag! They are colorful, with multiple shapes, and easy to handle. She likes to string them after I've tied a knot around the first one so they don't all fall off. We also make her a necklace that she loves to wear. Other games are stringing colors or shapes together or sorting the beads into cups. The cons: While they are not as big as I thought (which is my own fault) we love them. We do not leave her alone with them because they are not big enough for my liking to do so. There was only one string. The hard part at the end is to short for her to do easily because it disappears into the bead. I would have preferred the hard part to be double the length of a bead to keep kids from getting frustrated. She cannot string them alone only because of the string. We are ordering the primary set to use until she is a little older.

Careful with the circle and oval shapes, but otherwise great
I contemplated making this purchase after reading many, many reviews. Cons: random assortment of colors so you can't do patterning (as mentioned by another reviewer)... Biggest safety concern is the circles and ovals can fit in the mouth of a 20 mo old... I put those shapes away for now and will bring them back out in another 4-6 months... She enjoys the cubes and triangles plenty, and even watching her like a hawk they are soooo fast at this age, that I didn't want to to take any chances. ... the string that is included is flimsy, but works okayish if I thread them and make a necklace for her to 'wear'. Pros... this holds her attention for 3-5 minutes, which is a record.. lol. I found that a thicker shoestring works great (washed one from my snow boots!) and she really focuses on threading the string through the hole. It's a great fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination building fun activity. We reinforce shapes and colors by talking through the activity. Overall, I am very pleased for the price, and glad that I made the purchase.

So Much Fun!!
This is a great toy and a fun learning experience. I was looking for stringing beads and picked these as the description said the holes were larger...and they are which makes it easier for a toddler to learn how to thread the laces through the holes. The beads are made of hard plastic making them easy to clean. They are also smooth and just the right size for little hands to pick up, hold, and manipulate. This set of lacing beads also has plusses over other sets...their bright colors and the variety of bead shapes. Not only can we practice stringing; but we can also learn colors, shapes, and pattern making all while playing. And coming with a storage bag is another big plus. Other big name stringing bead products come in container without a top; making you have to find some type of container to store them in. Skoolzy you're #1 in my book for having a complete package. This picture is from the first time we were playing with the beads; and even though she's really concentrating here, there was much giggling and laughing as she was able to get the beads on the strings and then run around the room celebrating her happiness at what she was able to achieve. The next day, these stringing beads were one of the first things she wanted to play with again. I just know that we'll have many more days (months and years) playing with these Skoolzy Jumbo Primary Stringing Beads. Playtime just got more fun for both of us.

fun and beneficial
I was on the Hunt for something to keep my almost 2 year old entertained, that she could also do with my 8 year old. At the same time I was looking for something that we could utilize in a classroom type setting for our Toddler Classroom in our Children's Church that would be safe, fun and beneficial. When I came across these Stringing Bead's I thought hey that's exactly what I am looking for. My 2 y/o likes making things work or putting things together and thought she would have fun figuring out how to string them together. It would also give me an opportunity to work on shapes and colors with her, and I was right! She really enjoys them and pulls them out a few times a day and plays for quite some time with them each time. This is a major thing for us as she is not very easily self entertained and rarely plays with toys Her 8 /o brother also enjoys sitting down and playing with them with her. I purchased one set to try with her before getting a set for our Classroom and now Ultimately I want to purchase more for her and I am wanting to buy a few more sets to use in our classroom at church as I think these will be a fun activity for the kids and also plan to purchase another set for one of our kiddos to take home to work with as he has recently been diagnosed as being on the Spectrum and I think these would be a good tool for him as well. These beads are big enough that you don't have to worry about curious minds swallowing them by accident, the holes are large enough that after a few minutes of careful observation the kids can easily get the string in themselves. My daughter has had no problems stringing them herself, but if you find that your child has a hard time grasping the ends of the string just wrap a few layers of tape around it for some grip. The carrying bag is super convenient for quick clean up and storage and allows us to take them anywhere we go (We even used them on a recent short road trip!!) I said all that to say I highly recommend these for any child as both a fun activity and a learning tool.

Cute idea for a set, wish the beads were actually 'jumbo'
As both a behavioral therapist and a mom to a toddler I find this product to be a decent bead set. The therapist in my loves it's beautiful simplicity-there is one string and several ideas of patterns to follow. Perfect for working with one child. The parent wishes it came with more than one string-easy remedy though! My son wants to make a necklace for me and one for himself. Both the therapist and parent in me wish the beads themselves were a little bigger-they are not very 'jumbo' compared to other bead sets-which was a huge disappointment. In addition, the string that came with is very flimsy and not great quality-which again is an easy fix, but would have been nice to start off with. Ultimately, this product is filling it's purpose for an okay price. However, I still wish the beads themselves were bigger.

Great quality- smooth and strong!
3 year old granddaughter LOVED these. The beads were very nicely finished, no rough edges. Good tips on the lasing cords too. I think she will have fun with these for a while. She is starting to understand patters, and it was fun for her to know the colors
