Beware installation manual error *by T***N on October 2, 2023* An error in the installation manual drawings indicates that the ports on the top of the lid can be used interchangeably for waste or vent. This is false. One of the ports is smaller on the interior side of the lid to fit close with the outlet pipe from the pump. If the other port is used for waste, much of the pumped water will circulate around the larger opening back into the basin and not develop enough pressure to discharge. I falsely assumed that the manual was correct and installed the waste on the wrong port, requiring disassembly to reorient the pump and do more PVC work to cross the vent and waste. Make sure the vent port is connected to your actual DWV venting system.
