Cursive Handwriting Workbook for Adults: Learn Cursive Writing for Adults (Adult Cursive Handwriting Workbook) Review: A Quick Way to Achieve a Lifetime Skill - I am an 'oldster' and I do know how to write cursive. That said, it needed improvement if only for the sake of improvement and I have accomplished that with this book. Lots of useful exercises starting with the alphabet, words, longer words, sentences and quotes. The repetition is probably essential and you have plenty of room in the book to do that and what you are writing is interesting enough to keep you interested. According to my wife, my cursive writing has gotten better in just a couple of weeks. I am an old-school 'letter writer'. I like to send people letters from time to time and its really good if they can 'read' what you 'wrote'. Now, they can! This was a great book for my needs. It has taken a couple of weeks of nightly practice to finish the book and it was not a difficult task to accomplish. I would recommend this for any ADULT interesting in improving their handwriting. It won't take long to achieve that, and you will have a 'lifetime' skill as a result. This book is enough to help anyone do that. Review: Learn or Relearn = Connect your Brain - This is a great book. I have found that some young adults never learned cursive. Others like me just developed bad habits over the years. Studies have shown that that there is a direct connection between writing (especially cursive) and the brain. Highly recommend.

It works you just need to be consistent
I would learn how to write a letter from the book then go practice that letter on another piece of paper and I did this for each letter until I was from A to Z. If you are consistent it takes only a few weeks or less and you can easily learn it. Now I write Cursive fluently and easily.

They don't teach it in school anymore.
I got this for a friend who couldn't even sign his own name. He couldn't read cursive at all, and considered it just to be fancy writing. Maybe that's what it is, but I wanted him to have the choice to learn if it helps wanted to, so I bought him this book and it's a pretty great book. It teaches the basics and uses various different methods to do so.
