I had formerly used the double stick tapes and although they do a great job of sticking all day, sometimes you need to play around with them so much to get them positioned so I thought I'd see what the single stick tapes are like and I ordered these. I have 2 issues I wish they would improve. First I think the strips could be a little longer. They're approx 2mm too short for me. Also they stick to their packaging very well and it is not as easy to remove each individual strip as it should be. I have used tweezers and also tried to roll the plastic backing off to pop the end so I can apply it. No matter the method, the end always ends up a little curled and although I have not touched the strip to anything the end pops up when applied and seems not to have enough adhesive to stick. I have trimmed the little end off, but this adds to the problem of the strip being too short. I love that the color seamlessly blends in with my skin color and it is hard to see except for the popped end. I think with some improvements this could be a fantastic product but it needs some tweaks. It was obviously way more hooded then my left eye. I’ve read about eyelid tape here and there. I never watched any videos about the effects, how to use it, what it does until this week. There was a few YouTube videos I’ve seen with people using this with hooded eyes and I was super skeptical. I mean it’s not expensive to get eyelid tape and for it to make such a huge difference? I decided to get this product since it was so cheap and I figured I would see if it worked and if it didn’t it’s fine it wasn’t that much money. No joke I kind of cried a lot when I saw how much it helped. I was just so overwhelmed because I thought there would be no way I could help my right eye look more like to left eye. I’m my pictures I put tape on both but I don’t need it that much for my left eye. And yes, you can see the tape in some parts BUT that’s my fault I only spent like 20 seconds putting the tape on my eyes for pictures. I didn’t bother trying to get better placement. I just want to show how it looks with basically no effort put into it. I don’t wear eyeshadow so I can’t say much about that. I do wear eyeliner though and fine. I don’t feel the tape, easy to take off.
