I heard that silk pillowcases can help prevent overnight breakage so I thought I would try this pillow. I wasn't sure about the different fabrics on either side but I liked the price of this case in comparison to other silk cases so I thought it "Let's try it!" After more than a year of use, I am very happy with this pillowcase. I love that one side is cotton so I can flip it to that side during the day when my dog sometimes lays on my pillow. Then at night I flip it over to the silk side and it is nice and clean. I haven't noticed any obvious changes in my hair loss thanks to this pillowcase (I also changed some other products and tools I use, so they could all be helping together), but I figure it doesn't hurt.
