Best Beginner Book EVER!
Absolutely the best book for a little boy! We have owned the book for about a month and my 20-month old asks for it many times a day. Often, he will just sit and look through the book himself while he "reads" aloud. The pictures are bright and colorful. The best part is that there are easily recognizable cars and people on every page. Even the youngest children will be able to pick out familiar items on each page meaning every page is interesting! Also, the story of Sam and his car teaches responsibility and ends with a funny twist that the young readers will find silly. Simply a great beginner book!

This is a sweet book and the illustrations are colorful and simple. The vehicles have a little personality, my one-year old grandson loves it.

Perfect for the car-loving toddler!
My 19 month old son LOVES cars. We checked this book out from the library and it is definitely my son's favorite book. I put it on my Amazon wish list, so hopefully someone will buy it for us. We've renewed the one we have 3 times now! :) The book has a lot of simple pictures of cars, simple words, and even a bus. My son gets very excited about the last page which has cars, a bus, and an airplane. My Car is a bedtime story request almost every night.

Great for the non car lover too
My toddlers LOVE this book. The content is accessible for both my 18 and 3.5 year old and it's easy to add lib. Their questions and comments are endless! Really engaging. They call it "the car book". They tend to ignore every other book on cars, trains, trucks but not this one. Vibrant colors and clear imagery. Love it !
