It's obviously made for a smaller diameter cane shaft as it does not firmly grasp the cane.

Exactly what I expected just a little more expensive than the ones I bought at the store before but the store no longer has them. They do not stay on the cane well, so you need extras because you end up losing them. They do help to hold the cane on the counter while you pay.

It’s a good idea and it works most of the time if I carefully place my cane in a position where it can’t be jostled in any way ( and the tip is securely placed on the ground). It won’t reliably hang suspended from a surface. Basically the same as I would do without it. The rubber pad isn’t that sticky so it slides off pretty easily if a table gets bumped or something is set down forcefully on the counter. It gets 3 stars because it falls less often, and I’m not bending over to pick it up as much as I used to.

My husband used this item for a number of years, and found it extremely useful. When he passed, I gave it to a friend who had admired it but couldn’t seem to find one—she still uses it. Fast-forward about six years, and I needed one for the cane I am now using. I looked in a few stores and was thrilled to find this product online. It’s a simple thing and yet it works beautifully!

Does not stay on cane … slides up the cane shaft from the cane’s weight. Need a wire tie to keep it in place. Also does not work well on horizontal surfaces with curved edges (what flat surface these days does not have curved edges?!) as they present less of a bearing surface for the support portion of this device allowing it to quickly fall. Have found very few cases where this works, particularly with walking canes.

It has a very strong spring which seems fine. But, if you bump anything hard it will fall off. I have already lost it since I didn't see it fall.

This cane holder is amazing! It is so simple, inexpensive and it works! I just put the holder on the cane (the clamp is tight and so took a bit of effort), then I just set it on top of my desk and a table top, even the bathroom sink and it just hangs there all by itself ready to grab when I need it! It stays on the cane and is ready for use when and where I need it. It is much smaller and much lighter than I anticipated making it unobtrusive and does not add weight to my cane. It clamps solidly on both of my canes (the smaller cane is 3"). I only bought one to be sure it works as promised. It does, so I'm going to buy one for each of my canes.

Hand your cane almost anywhere. It installs and adjusts easily.

Very handy for your walking stick just to hang it onto the desk or table when you're out stops things from falling over it's quite good

I had this cane holder on my cane for about 2 weeks. Then one day noticed it was gone. DID NOT HAVE A GOOD GRIP AROUND THE CANE
