Where people moan about otg not working with Firesticks is where there isn't enough power to drive the device, up the power supply to 2amp or 3amp or where an Ethernet dongle is used that isn't compatible (been there done that... stick a hub in the chain and try again). 1amp power supply was fine for driving a SanDisk 256gb stud and the Firestick. Worked perfectly. Wanted a low profile solution for using the Firestick in hotels where you don't want an OTG with cables dangling behind the TV. A stud usb memory plus that coding you find on the net for extending memory above 8k did the trick. Neet solution for travelling. Keep the cables at home.

The unit is small and neat when in place and works well. The only drawback for me is it a little fiddly to fit as I have large hands and a little loose as it is suspended on a fire stick maybe one with a cable would have been better for me but now fitted does a good job.

Excellent quality and works

I bought his connector because I needed to connect my midi keyboard to my Samsung Tablet to play my app instrument. Therefore I needed to be able to charge it and receive the midi data through usb, unfortunately this does not work for that matter. I've tried switching the USB's to both porta but no luck on charging, only receiving data. I was able instead to receive the data from the midi keyboard and control my apps, roland and caustic 3 and the second usb send it as audio to the speakers or usb headphones. They are sturdy and after a while still working.

Tried several times to connect the adaptor to my Firestick,the device isn't recognised as being connected. The adaptors aren't a good fit when connecting to the firestick. Ah well live and learn.

These are nice and small, so they don't get in the way, the flash drive fits in very nicely and the whole set hides behind the tv perfectly.

Cant fault...works fine

Of the two items, both were faulty; one failed to work at all, the other only worked if one moved the attached USB memory stick until it was detected. My recommendation - look for a better - Powered Micro USB OTG Adapter; try the Adaptare, model number: 40228; ASIN number: B00EJP5XR2. It worked for me.
