Perfect Heavy Rearview-Mirror Epoxy!
I bought this to fix my mom’s Rearview-Mirror. Everything she tried didn’t hold very long. After reading through forums of similar issues, I was directed to try this epoxy. It tried to toughen the mirror tab and cleaned the surfaces with isopropanol. After I mixed the epoxy, I applied a consistent-layer on the surface and held the Mirror Tab in place for a few-seconds. It pushed-out around the edges which made a nice bead of epoxy that held the tab in-place. We have it a full 24-hrs to cure and it has been perfect ever-since. I strongly-recommend this as an alternative to other methods because it dries clear and forms a superior-bond.

It worked for reattaching my rearview mirror!
Used this to reattach my car’s rearview mirror. Note it takes 10 full minutes to initially set, so I had to hold the mirror in place for that time then taped the mirror until it finished curing but it fell off within the hour. Second attempt I held it in place again for 10 mins and then braced the mirror with a security bar/jammer meant for doors for 24 hours and now the rearview mirror is securely attached. The smell was not as strong as I expected and it was easy to mix and work with. I would buy again.

Great packaging, decent epoxy
As two-part, fast-drying epoxy goes, this is pretty good. What I like most about it is definitely the dispenser - being able to squeeze out just a little bit, mix it up, apply it, and not have to throw away the rest of it away because of a poor container is a big plus. Since purchasing this item I've used it on a few things: 1) A clothes rack (5/5 stars on the fix-it scale) - The foot of the clothes rack had cracked. It is a smooth plastic component that had a clean break. I applied this epoxy to both sides and then taped it together while it dried/cured. It's solid as a rock now. 2) A camping grill (4/5 stars on the fix-it scale) - The plastic piece that holds the legs on a small camping grill had cracked. It was a jagged rough crack, and it required quite a bit of epoxy to fill the gap, and even though this is 'fast drying', I still ended up having to clamp it to get it to hold together long enough to cure. End result was a nice fix, but if I had to hold it by hand while it was drying it wouldn't have worked. 3) A suitcase (1/5 stars on the fix-it scale) - This is a hard-sided "'diamond pattern" polycarbonate (the ones that don't get scratched up so easily) suitcase that the baggage handlers must have been playing rugby with. It cracked at the corner - not a large crack, just about 1.5 inches, but definitely at a stress point... when you use the handle to pick it up, it stresses that corner, when you throw it on the belt or in the trunk of a taxi, that point takes a hit. I used the epoxy on both sides (inside and outside) of the crack, it dried and cured nicely and I was proud of my patch. I think the diamond pattern on the suitcase actually gave the epoxy a lot more surface area to adhere to vs a flat polished surface like most suitcases would have. After the first leg of my trip, it had already started to re-crack, and by the time I got home, it was completely re-cracked and 1/2 the epoxy had actually flaked off the suitcase. Overall, I'm satisfied with this epoxy and would buy it again, but I still need to figure something out for my cracked suitcase :) Protip: Use this in a well ventilated area (outside, if possible!). It really smells quite bad, and it gets warm (almost hot) from the chemical reaction during curing which only makes the smell worse!

Epoxy, permanently, effective, cheap.
Use epoxy when superglue just isn't cutting it. Epoxy will bond whatever you want, permanently, regardless of the material. I don't know the chemistry behind it, but what happens is that you combine two different chemicals to form a gel that permanently adheres to whatever you use it on. I bought this product without knowing too much about it, so I'll share some knowledge. 1) You can re-cap the product and store it for future use. Clean the tip with a napkin and store it upright with the plunger side down. You have to press hard on the cap and hear a snap to ensure it has been properly capped. I'm not sure why other reviewers have this problem. 2) To use, break the seal, and push down on a double plunger (it is connected at the top). This ensures an equal amount of both chemicals are released from the tubes. 3) Mix the two products with the included tiny mixing stick into the tiny tray (which is the plastic packaging for this product. Smart design!) 4) You don't need an ton of epoxy to ensure a permanent hold. A light coating on one side is more than enough. 5) There is a heavy chemical smell, use it near an open window. 6) It dries clear

Works, Easy application.
I used this Permatex epoxy to affix my rearview mirror to the windshield -- after the Permatex product specifcally for rearview mirrors failed twice. So far the epoxy is working well. Mirror connection is solid. Recommended. Update: June 29th. Epoxy is holding strong despite hot summer weather and high temperatures. Recommended.

very good
this probably one of the best epoxy's I've used, it hardens into a hard rubber not brittle like other.

This is the best epoxy you can buy, It sets and dries very quickly which is great but the selling point for me is how strong it is when it is cured, Its has 3400psi shear strength which is crazy hard. it dries clear which is also neat. This is my goto epoxy, I wasnt able to find it for about 10 years then saw it of Amazon had to have it. The quality of this epoxy is reflected in the price however, one 2-part tube is $19.99 and the price only gets higher from other sellers.
