It's Their way or the Highway. Customer service poor.
I won’t deal with this company ever again. I bought a Stealth 13 4k touch. Loved the machine but the screen would flicker when moving the screen. As it got worse, I opened a case for repair. Communication was awesome and after a week of trying all the software solutions I sent it in for repair Sept 23rd. It needed a new screen and parts were on back order. Quite understandable and normal as of lately. They offered a replacement, one with only the HD screen. The 4k screen was the reason I bought this device, so I declined. Every other day, Razor would offer the same deal and I declined every time. I even offered to pay the difference to upgrade to a Blade 15 with the 4k touch screen a couple times. On the 7th attempt I forwarded every response I had sent them to get the point across I did NOT want the model they were offering. Oct 13th, they offered a refund, and I gave them authorization for refund. Oct 20th, I receive an email that my Stealth has been repaired and has shipped. Yay! It comes in, I’m excited. “Good Feeling gone” now the screen doesn’t work AT ALL and there is a huge chunk missing out of it. New Case, return device for refund Oct 21st. They receive the device Oct 27th and confirm receipt Oct 28th. Nov 9th still no refund and daily emails saying “We are still waiting for an update from our finance team for the completion of your wire transfer refund. A follow up has been for you. Rest assured, we are continuing to monitor the case to ensure that it is handled with utmost priority.“ So far, I have been contacted by Mark, Clark, Kevin, Joebert, Roland, Therese, Clint, James, Drew, Empliny, Diamon, Aki, Job, Louella, Jay, and I probably missed someone with the miles of emails. With all these contacts I have concluded that it wasn’t a single employee that dropped the ball but it is Razer policy to bounce the customer around until they are worn out.

I simp over my Razer Stealth 13
This is the sweet spot between portability and performance. I wanted something similar in weight to my Apple MacBook but more powerful but at a similar price point. This is an absolute winner. I can do all my video editing for school projects, having a dedicated graphics card is a plus. I love that I can add a Bluetooth controller and play Xbox pass or steam games when I need a break. I did compare it to a Rog Zephyrus g14. The Rog is more powerful, but I couldn’t get past the noise levels and the plastic body. So, having an aluminum body that is quieter, was more important and I was happy to pay the $$500 difference. It is a beautiful piece of machinery. I do have a gaming PC, so I didn’t want or need a Razer Blade 15. I know the strengths and limitations of a gtx 1650ti. Perfect gift if you have a kid in middle school-college. Just make sure you also include a wireless controller.

Decent as expected at this price point
I have some 15.6" laptops that stay at home as they are to heavy and big for being "portable". I like the 13-14" form factor. Disclaimer: I also own a 13" MacPro and a SurfaceBook pro 14". Also disclaimer, I have a older 13" stealth that I never use because I hate the 1080P screen on it. I've unboxed and setup this computer. Forgetting for the moment the now requirement to have a Microsoft account (this can be worked around later after being setup) the computer does not come with any bloatware other then the Microsoft crap. Easy to remove. Since I'm used to high resolution screens, I like the screen on this one. Oddly for a "laptop" the two fan input areas fall right where your legs would go if using it as a laptop. I hate to say that I don't really have high hopes for ether the gaming abilities or the battery life on this one. However given that it does have a dGPU I'll expect to at least run some games on it, given the weak dGPU and the response time of the 4K screen it is questionable what types of games and how well they will play on this thing. So why did I buy it? It was Black Friday and I was looking for a new toy. 12/2/2021 update: This little laptop has become my favorite! I just love the beautiful screen! If you don't mind playing older and less demanding games the 1650ti works good enough. (I have fallout3 installed and I'm playing @4K with High/Ultra settings!) There are a TON of fun and less demanding games on Steam. (<=2014?) Just for fun I play MIR4 on it. On the 4K screen the game only renders a window (expandable) so you can do other things while auto-farm/questing. It looks stunning on this screen! At the default window size the GPU is not maxed out and the bottom does not get hot (slightly warm). The 'fix' for games here is the Thunderbolt3 port. I have a Razor case and RTX3070ti inbound that hopefully will fix (at least for gaming at home) modern game and resolution limitations for now. Considering the cost of dGPU cards, for a bit more one can get a entire new laptop (was shopping Razor 14 with RTX3070) but decided against it.

The Best
So far so AMAZING.. this laptop is the best one I have ever bought for myself. It plays the new flight simulator from Microsoft on Ultra with very little performance issues. I got the 4k touch screen and it is crystal clear. Better overall than I expected. Fingerprint problems? Try a babywhipe or a very barely moist plush microfiber.

Hot trash
I bought this laptop for a nice school computer. I was going to use it for adobe softwares and some video editing with some light gaming as well. i got greeted with battery issues. Fps just not as great as every reviewer said it was. And a repair team that has the knowledge of apples genius bars. I swear their only solution is to factory reset and when that doesnt work they ask you to bring it in for repairs. I got my laptop repaired and sent back and its now worse. They had breakfast on my laptop and brought it back. Im not sure if I just got a faulty laptop because I never dropped this laptop ever or if this is all laptops. But my overall experience is trash

Great computer, but beware, does not play well with docking stations!
I bought this when my old Dell XPS 13 died. I've used XPS 13 for my last 3x computers, the last because I fell in love with the simplicity of the Thunderbolt 3 connection. No more external power packs, no HDMI cables, just one little plug and bam. I thought I had found the perfect replacement in the Razer 13, but sadly, it does not play well with docking stations. I reinstalled all my drivers for both types of docking stations (home and at the office), but I just keep getting all kinds of problems including constant notices of inadequate power being supplied when the docking station puts out something like 120w or whatever the Thunderbolt maximum is. I emailed tech support and they confirmed that they do not recommend the computer be used with any docking stations, only with an external monitor. I wish I had known that before I bought it, I may have reconsidered my choice. I love the computer itself; it's fast and powerful, light, sleek, and so wonderfully free of bloatware. If I had to make one major complaint about the build of the computer, I really hate how close the "del" key is to the power button. Quite a few times I've accidentally shut my computer down or put it into sleep just trying to erase some text. Ah well, nothing is perfect. Overall, aside from the docking station issue, it's a great little machine.

Not good value for the high specs and not ergonomic for non-gamer direct laptop user
2/5 was primarily because of the expectation to price point ratio. It certainly out performers many laptops out there in many technical areas. But I am sharing my unique experience using it. It is a nice compact size, but still feels clunky and heavy. The specs are nice but overkill for most software or apps you would run on a computer. It meets the minimum requirements for being used just as a laptop. But honestly, if you are trying to game with it, you are better off connecting it to another monitor anyway and have it pose as a desktop. The hardware developed a graphics card / sound card issue within a year when it stutters while playing video. The touch pad is lacking in responsiveness. If you have 1400$ to spend, you are better off putting together your own build of a desktop. Almost felt like a gimmick. As I thought this laptop despite intended for gaming would at least last a long time and can be used for things outside of that as it boasts a powerful graphics card, newer gen processor (not state of the art), but close enough to the latest and greatest in terms of hardware average to the market. From another usability standpoint it was nice that it has USB, coax, and USB C connectors. That felt very convenient. But there are more laptops out there with more inputs at a smaller price point. Seems silly give after 3 years there are much cheaper laptops out there with better specs accounting for inflation. Makes me not want to get any laptop above 1000 retail as it will just feel outdated after even 6 months. Lastly, something is janky with the network card. It being modern gives a high up and down speed that matches our internet service, but the signal tends to cutoff unexpectedly.

Great laptop. Until..
The laptop started to randomly artifact. Updating the GPU driver didn't fix it. I got the 4k model so I don't know if this only happens to this model. Though I love this laptop for it's small form with discrete GPU I ended up returning it. Maybe I got unlucky and got a defective one. Razer should make all the arrow keys the same size as the up/down arrow keys and in the up side down T formation, which feels more like the arrow keys from a standard keyboard. Small particles can get stuck in the speaker grill as they are up facing. Everyone already knows about the finger prints issue. Great laptop if there are no issues.

#neveragain
