An absolute must have
I started out with a cheap pocket hole jig kit. It had a hand screw to tighten and loosen the clamp. While it worked, there were so many drawbacks. I was torn between Massca and Kreg for my replacement. I followed the advice of a YouTuber (that uses and reviews lots of woodworking products) and got this one. Man, am I glad I did. It's hard to express how much I like this one without turning this post into a rant against my old jig. But Here are my top Pro's: - The CLAMP is by far the best feature. Being able to lock my piece, drill my hole, and unlock to move to the next hole/piece in seconds has saved me so much time. - The stabilizing arms are great for wider pieces that tend to tip over when too much weight is on one side. - The included drill bit is so smooth in the drill guide. It doesn't bite and grind into the guide like other brands. I was also expecting some metal shavings as the bit and guide were "broken in", but nothing like that happened. Still buttery smooth after several uses. The Bit is also designed to fit very well in my drill. This was unexpected as I'm used to a bit that seems more destined for a drill press. - The lock ring/drill stop is very well made and locks very well onto the bit. It doesn't cant/lean on the bit, slide during use, or work its way loose. The design seems to have though in advance not to conflict the stop key and the bit grooves with each other. I've had this on other pieces and it can be very frustrating to deal with. - Adjustment on the pocket hole guide block are really easy to make, with preset measurements already there that are easy to read and set. - Built-in dust collection!!! This was huge for me. The dust collection port is the perfect size for my shop vac hose. I can connect it, power on the vacuum, and drill away with zero dust build up. This has made a big difference in my shop. - Mounting holes and screws are available with this product. I took full advantage and mounted it to a piece of MDF scrap I had. This gave more stability, easy storage, and a nice work platform that I can move around as needed. - Most pieces came with its own protective case. Like the drill bit came in a plastic box to protect it when not in use. Granted, I don't use it, but it is a good design and gives a little bit of thought to the producer that they went above and beyond when putting this package together. Some things I don't like (but can probably live with): - If the clamp is not adjusted just right, the rubber ring that holds pressure on your piece can leave an impression on your workpiece. I've started using a small scrap to take the pressure instead of the work piece and that has made a big difference, even though it gives me another piece to work with. - The depth stop guide will most likely get lost. I like it, and its functional as a component, but being lightweight plastic and having to be removed after each setup means it has to be stored somewhere. I'm trying to keep my parts all together, but I just know that it will eventually be lost. A different design for that setup might be necessary. - This could be user error, or cross brand conflict, but I've noticed the holes of the pocket holes don't seem to go as far as I would have expected. I have my stock pieces set properly and the depth stop set for the appropriate thickness, but the screw heads seem to stop just before full concealment. I'll change screw brands and see if that makes a difference, but that is something I will definitely have to adjust for in my builds. Other notes, - I have not used the screws that came with it, yet. So far I've used what I have in my stock. Once I have a chance though, I'll try them out and make a separate review.

Wow. I had NO IDEA a pocket hole jig could be this good.
Full disclosure; I have only made 16 pocket holes with this newly-arrived jig. But I have been building items with pocket hole jigs for two decades. Here are some things that have impressed: (1) Solidity. Aluminum vs plastic housing - no comparison. Knurled brass knobs for securing adjustments are great. (2) Dust collection - I had no idea how much cleaner my shop would be, or how the hole quality would be improved with a lack of chips while drilling. (3) Ease of use. Clamping the piece between the aluminum housing and a rubber-faced toggle clamp provides a super-secure workpiece while drilling. "Outriggers" (on the Pro system) support the workpiece nice and level. I attach the jig securely to my workbench with the same clamps I use for my track saw. Adjusting for different wood thicknesses is easy with clear marks on the housing. (4) Overall quality feel - just excellent. My first couple of holes looked a little ragged. I saw comments to this effect in some other reviews, and I expected this was more a result of the drill bit and not the fixture. I wasn't deeply concerned, because I don't use pocket holes where they are visible, and I have plenty alternative bits for making pocket holes. But being a little fussy, I adjusted my technique to make multiple "plunges" with the supplied drill bit, and the hole edges became really clean. Overall: I should have bought one of these fixtures a long time ago.

works as well as the competion
Since it's made of aluminum, it feels like a well-made product that will last a while. I decided to go with this over the Kreg brand mainly for that reason. It works quite well, and the drill bit that's included for the pocket holes seems quite sharp and makes the holes quickly. I like the size as it sits without moving and can be taken apart if you want to use it without the base.

This pocket hole jig was very easy to set up. I like that there are no plastic parts and the quality of the tool feels strong and durable. I built a set of cabinets for a work bench out of 3/4 inch Birch plywood. There was a little bit of splintering in the plywood when drilling the pocket holes but I cleaned them up with a light sand and they turned out just fine. I imagine this wouldn’t happen with solid wood. I hope to use it on many projects in the future.

I’ve had a blue basic 320 pocket hole jig for a few years and never used it much. It seemed cheaply built and pretty inflexible for anything outside of standard dimensional lumber. I’m building a large assembly table and after spending about half an hour struggling with the jig, I decided I needed something a little more user friendly. After a lot of research, I decided to buy the Massca M2 Pro. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! This thing is SOLID. No cheap plastic, infinitely variable for different wood thickness and a real pleasure to use. This thing is one of the nicest quality tools I’ve ever seen. Thank you Massca for a job well done. 👍👍

Outstanding jig for making safe, repeatible, precision, quick pocket holes. Very satisfying to use on my shelving project. I am using the vacuum port to make for very effective sawdust control. A good accessory for this is an auto-on shop vac switch. Definitely put this up there with my other favourite jigs. Recommended.

Oh man, this thing is so well built - beautiful all-aluminum machined build. Feels heavy, solid. Comparing this to the 'Pro' version of a pocket hole jig by the 'blue brand' we all know it feels like that one is just robbery considering the blue brand's plastic floppy build quality. This thing will last you a lifetime. Great value. Buy qulity, buy once, Buy For Life!!
