Is this good for hair?

No reason why you can’t use it on your hair, but it will dry your hair out after a few washes. You’d be better off buying a solid shampoo bar if you want to use soap on your hair.

How do you use this for laundry ?

I grate it and add it to sodium bicarbonate in a jar. It’s so easy to use and breaks down in the water, no bits . Add a few drops of pure essential oil to the jar too.. Lovely clean washing . I also add a few drops of white vinegar for softness instead of conditioner.
