Usually with game cases there is something I don't like about them. This one is perfect with two zippers, a great fit, closing up without squishing it my screen, stretch straps to hold it inside the case to keep it from flying out when you unzip it, holders for loose games and a zipper pocket, it is thin but feels very protective, has a carry strap, fabric it classy and waterproof, and the trim is a pretty color, well stitched like high end product and no off gassing smells. What price did we pay for this?? I had to go back and check because this was a lot nicer than I expected. It came in a nice box completely protecting it for gift giving, unlike nintendo brand cases. I like quality and sometimes will spend more to get it, but this case was for my teenager and she wanted something more affordable...this totally competes in with the high end market. I wish we had bought this case for our other kids' consoles. They got fancy Mario and Animal Crossing theme ones, this one is just as nice and more enjoyable to use because it is so thin. No one wants to bulk up their switch lite, defeats the whole purpose. I bought this case without realized I had a silicone grip case on my switch lite so I was worried that the bulk of the added hand grips from the silicone case wouldnt allow it to fit in this case but it fits perfectly! I was also very pleasantly surprised to discover little joystick covers inside the pocket of the case! I ordered the turquoise and grey case and both the case and the joystick covers match my turquoise switch perfectly! I was afraid that the elastic straps to hold the switch in place would be annoying and they kind of are, but the switch sits perfectly on top of it without sitting too high. The case itself is like a hard clamshell with a little padding. I'm not sure if it would really protect very much against being dropped but I didn't buy it for that, I bought it so the screen wouldnt get scratched up from floating around freely and it's perfect for that because the little game holder flap is well padded and covers the screen perfectly when closed. The switch lite fits perfectly in this case. It held my Switch Lite, even with the outer shell that we placed on the Switch. It looks very clean and just non-descript enough that you can’t tell what’s in case (who wants to advertise that you’ve got $$$ electronics on you). There are little feet that stick out on the bottom of the case, which is useful so that you don’t open the unit upside down. The elastic straps hold the Switch in place just fine.
