Works a treat, Rust belt delight!
A must for automotive under body work in the rust belt. I used it to get out some M6’s that would have snapped off with any other means. No damage what so ever to anything, the socket, fasteners, and surrounding areas were completely undamaged. Zero reservations about reusing the bolts. This product is at least as good as percussion and nearly as good as heat (propane torch). FAR BETTER than ANY penetrating oil. The bolt cracking loose is the oddest feeling. Id highly recommend an air chisel with a regulator. My 114GQC has an internal regulator, being able to throttle the speed made the experience a dream. ( The 114GQC is also highly recommended )

Fantastic for Ford Triton exhaust studs.
Is this the best tool in the world? Does it work flawlessly even if your an idiot and don't know what your doing? Does is compensate for lack of experience and skill.... The answer is no...But it is a fantastic tool to put in your "OH $%&# drawer" in the shop and try it when your needing to remove stubborn bolts or studs. YES! Just used it on a Triton V10 and got 10/10 studs out with out them snapping off! If you've ever tried this job you know what a PITA it is! Yes I had to use a combination of penetratingly oil and the hot wrench, but still they are all out. Note: My engine is out so I'm able to access the studs easier, I also use this tool in combination with bolt extractors because of course all the nuts are rusted to oblivion. Bottom line, Great Quality tool, it works great, and well worth the money!

Free Stuck Bolts Without Damage
I've used the 3/8 version for several years and been very happy. I live on the coast of Maine so corrosion is a major issue on newer vehicles. I also work on older 50 or more year old cars for my own pleasure. You obviously want to use impact sockets or bits, and don't start out full bore on the impact. I have the Snap on PH3050 and turn it way down for smaller fasteners. It really works to shake very stuck nuts and bolts free. Use a wrench to turn it as you finesse the air hammer. I finally got the 1/2 inch to use larger sockets without needing an adapter, but the 3/8 has done everything I've ever tried. Also It works well with impact hex or torx bit sockets and I use a 5/16 impact socket with screwdriver bits to shock things loose. Don't use non-impact, I used a non-impact allen socket on a brake rotor screw and it destroyed it, fortunately it was warrantied. This is a great time saver and Mayhew is a great company. Don't buy knock offs or you'll probably break them before your bolts break free.

Like magic for seized rusty bolts.
I wish I would've tried this so long ago. This was absolutely perfect for seized exhaust bolts and rusty undercarriage fasteners. At times, just the vibration from this would start to back the bolts off. And the price!! This is way cheaper than even the Hobo Freight version and this one is name brand. I can tell it's high quality for sure.

Works very well. A MUST HAVE tool in the shop. But the socket fall off the square drive.
This is now my go-to tool for dealing with rusty bolts and nuts or anything that I have a gut feeling might snap off a bolt like an exhaust manifold or cylinder head bolts. I put this on the smallest air hammer which otherwise just sits in my tool box. The quality seems very good. The only complaint is the fact that there is nothing to keep the socket from flying off the square drive. It would be nice to not have the socket get launched off the tool while using it. A ball bearing or a ring clip to hold the socket on the tool would make it easier and less annoying to use. Other than that, this is a must have tool in the shop.
