I wanted a blender that could manage ice and this does very well! Yes, the motor is a lil loud, its a blender! But it blends my fruits to perfection. Oh and get this...even though the jug is tall/big-ish, and may not stand in a typical fridge shelf upright, because the lid stops liquid coming out, u can lay it on its side and no seepage whatsoever!!! Luvvit it. *UPDATE* Re:Seepage. I found out after I wrote my initial review (which I stand by), that if the liquid is watery ,it will seep somewhat...
