im not really sure how to check or know, but what i do know is that i took a blood test recently and my rating for vitamin D came back excellent. I would encourage you to watch the youtube videos on vitamin D by Dr John Campbell. I actually double dose on these (8000IU) because of the new studies that are coming out thick and fast. Strength too high? 19-70 yr olds recommended only 600 iu daily? so why so strong???

You can take much higher dose each day without doing any harm i have been taking 4000 iu for three years.
