The heading states “areds 2 plus formula”. further on reference is made to “inspired by”. is it ares2 or not?

Sorry for the delay. Macuboost is inspired by Areds2. Bauch and Lamb did the original research and produced the Areds 2 formula in Preservision. I don't think anyone else can use the same formula. Macuboost has different proportions to the Areds 2 for some things, but has extra ingredients as well. It is a lot cheaper than Preservision. It has the same proportion of Lutein and Zeaxaanthin

Areds2 was specific in quantities of ingredients following trials. Your amounts are very different; what trials have been done to prove them?

Hi , the Lutein and Zeaxanthin are matched . The others are Vitamin C, E , Zinc ( and Copper to balance the Zinc ) and the daily intake of these will materially vary in any case with food intake.

I see this i’m not areds2 but you may mislead.. have you done research or have significant clinical support that your areds2 variation is effective?

I have AMD Wet and Dry and take several supplements and they seem to be holding it from getting worse.

Hi, Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids often found in leafy vegetables. Unlike Beta-carotene, these two carotenoids do not have vitamin A activity. Of the 30 or so carotenoids found in human blood only lutein and zeaxanthin are found in the lens of the eye and the retina.
