I needed a bit of extra light to fix a tiny flaw on one of my products — the manufacturing process had left a small flare of rubber that needed trimming, and I wanted to make sure I could see every detail clearly. At under £25, it seemed like a smart little investment — not just for this one task, but for plenty of future uses too. It arrived the next day with Prime (always a bonus!), neatly packaged and in perfect condition. First impressions were great: the tripod is surprisingly sturdy for something so lightweight, with solid closures that lock the height in place nicely. The ring light itself mounts easily with a screw fitting, and once in place, it feels secure and stable — no wobbling or slipping and with plenty of cable length too. The light connects via USB, which is really convenient. I simply plugged it into my power bank, and it lit up beautifully. The functionality is good, brightness and colour range are impressive for the price — from warm tones to cool whites — though I mainly use the crisp white setting when I need precision and clarity. It also comes with a phone holder that’s well-designed and easy to adjust, plus a remote control that syncs perfectly with my phone. I can see how this setup would be ideal for filming, photography, or even video calls — it’s versatile, compact, and very user-friendly. All things considered, this ring light is an excellent value-for-money tool. It’s one of those items that you don’t realise how useful it is until you’ve got one — and then you end up using it for everything from small repairs to lighting up small projects, videos, or workspace shots. Verdict: Bright, stable, and surprisingly versatile — a brilliant little tool to have on hand. Highly recommended for anyone needing reliable lighting without breaking the bank.

Really good ring light , little remote to take pics my daughter loves it ! Not to heavy but sturdy

whilst I have marked it down 1 star for this, it needs to be clear that this item looks and feels cheap, but then it was cheap to buy. You get what you pay for. As a test purchase it is great. I bought this for macro shots using a Mirrorless camera. The light is large (internal diameter is circa 19.5cm) meaning that I can easily aim the camera through the centre to replicate a fitted ring flash. The included tripod and ball socket means that the light can be directed pretty well onto a subject, although the set-up is too light weight to be relied upon outdoors; a better tripod is required for this. Being permanently lit means that the lighting effect is easy to monitor and TTL metering can be used. The light intensity can be varied as can the light colour. So, as a cheap experiment this more than satisfies my needs. I will keep using this until the light unit fails (the tripod is tat, thus it will be heading for the bin soon) and will then replace the light with a better quality unit.

Excellent product

I suppose you get what you pay for. The tripod does extend to a good height but it is wobbly. The light itself is quite dim for a ring light so no good for portraits or photography. Probably ok for facetiming but not for anything more professional
