Straplock W/ Button Chrome

I have these on several of my acoustic guitars. They are well made, easy to use and lock your strap securely. The only con is the shortness of the threaded portion. This can make it hard to attach if you have a thick strap. That is essentially the only difference between these Fender strap locks and Schaller strap locks, and they work great with the Music Nomad attachment for Taylors with ES2 electronics.

Excellent job Fender!!!! I cannot believe what an amazing product this is. A little on the price side, but worth every penny. They even ad a little bit of beauty to your instrument. I cannot believe take my strap off and put it on with ease!!

Worked as advertised. No issues and relatively easy installation. I don’t remember it coming with instructions, but YouTube helped me figure it out.

I had bought another set of strap locks that was supposed to be universal, and would likely have worked well had the posts on my Rickenbacker 4003 been larger at the top. Unfortunately they are skinny with very little lip, and I did feel confident about stability, and the posts "floated" in the locks too much. As I looked on-line for other products, I noticed in the photos that the Fender locks and posts looked like they would work better. To my great satisfaction, the fender posts and the Rick posts are exactly the same width and shape- so I did not even have to change the posts out! The locks work beautifully, and are rock solid stable- no "float" whatsoever. Best of all- the Fender Locks were ONE THIRD the price of the other leading brand. The look also is really cool, and I will be buying them for my other gear as well. Great job Fender!

These do work and it’s nice to just clip and go but they seem to not be as solid as I’d like. Also the screws that come with it are too small for my Fender guitars so I had to add a toothpick just to give the screw more bite. Hopefully retail last for a log time.

I am a professional guitarist, and have been gigging for 35 years. I started out with Schaller strap locks on my main gigging guitars, but as my guitar collection grew, I ended up with some ProLine and eventually some Fender Strap Locks. Most recently, I had one of knobs (that you pull to release these locks from the guitar) pop off for no apparent reason. I had not banged it on anything and was shocked when it came off for seemingly no reason. I figured it was a defective unit and ordered another. Ten months later, the same thing happened to the replacement set. In removing the strap lock from the guitar (with tools), I noticed that the knob had NOT broken off, as I had originally thought. Rather, it simply became unscrewed from the spring loaded plunger bolt. I reassembled it, this time with Loctite (thread-locker). I also unscrewed the other lock knob and did the same. I don't think I will encounter that problem ever again. I will continue to use these strap locks, and when I put a new set on a new guitar, I'll remove the knobs and reinstall them with Loctite prior to installing them on my guitar/strap. Problem solved. These types of strap locks will eventually wear out (metal on metal), but it takes years of heavy use to do that, and for $10 a set, I'm quite satisfied with them. Oh, and I also tighten them onto the strap with hand tools because if you try to tighten them by hand, without tools, they won't stay put.

Much better quality than cheaper versions/options. Will buy again for my other guitars

Como Straplock funcionan muy bien, sin embargo, yo compré la versión en negro y al sólo usarlo por primera vez se perdió ligeramente la pintura en la zona de contacto, esto dependerá de cuánto quites y vuelvas a poner la correa en tu guitarra. Sin embargo, después de más de un mes de uso, se ve como la pintura se ha ha perdido considerablemente. Pero eso sólo un detalle estético. El funcionamiento es excelente.

Asegura tu guitarra de caidas, una maravilla. Fácil de instalar y una vez puesto comodo para quitar la correa o ponerla de nuevo...
