I purchased this drain pan for my GE Profile 5.5 cu. ft. front load washer (W28" x D38"), and the fit is just right. This pan is purchased and is used for the upright 28"X28"X60" meat deep freezer to prevent leakage during power outage. Simple solution to prevent meat juices to drip and leak under the freezer or worse into walls, the smell of it is guaranteed for a few years to remind you of keeping it closed and protected. It never happened, but it also works as collector of dripping condensation during summer, which would drip under and keep concrete wet. It is a bit too wide for the application, but it brings peace of mind. The walls are high enough to hold every bit of liquid in the freezer twice over and it has a drain holes with a punch out tabs if needed. In my setting it is not connected to drain, nor the drain holes tabs are punched out. It has been purchased around eight-nine years ago, it is still sturdy, not warped, cracked or broken.

Alternative use - works great as a floor protector underneath my cat’s litter pan. My older male cat tends to “miss” and go over the side of his box occasionally and this protects the wood floors. And it’s easy for him to step over because it’s a low edge. I use it in combination with the large puppy training litter pan and I layer the amazon basics puppy pads underneath the litter box for easy cleanup of any “misses”. I put a washable drop cloth under it all (between this washer pan and the floor) to protect from scratching the floor and to keep it from sliding. The drop cloth catches any stray litter tracked out of the box and it’s easy to pick up and shake outdoors. I like this one because it has a (punch out?) removable plug but it arrives with the plug in place (since my use is different then underneath the washing machine, I did not want a hole in the pan).

Amazing product. Very easy to install and it fit my washing machine perfectly. As awareness make sure you measure your washing machine to match the size of the underneath lid. The one that came with the house was too small and flimsy. This one that I bought is made of great quality and fits the washing machine perfectly.

J’ai acheter ce bacs pour laveuse comme protection de plancher et à première vue c’est exactement ce que je voulais. Bonne dimension, son épaisseur est bonne et souple ce qui fait qu’il ne brise pas en le manipulant. Je ne peut pas vraiment noter le produit pour du long terme mais mon expérience me laisse croire que le bacs est bon pour dix ans avant de le remplacer.

My use case for this Drain Pan is a little different ... I used it to make a DIY Pee Pad for my dog. Originally I wanted to buy a Porch Potty but when I found out is was $259 (USD) I decided to build my own. This drain pan provides ample room for your dog to do his or her business. I bought some good quality artificial turn from my local hardware store and after cutting it to size laid it into the drain pan. The end result was perfect ... a large doggie pee pad for under $75 dollars. This drain pan is strong and durable. For the past 11 months It's been outside on our deck with the sun shining on it and temperatures as high as 35ºC and as low as -30ºC. The pan hasn't chipped, cracked or faded in the sun. Overall I'm very please with this drain pan. It's well made, durable and works great for my unique use case .... A DIY Doggie pee pad.

I paid a plumber to place this drip tray on a plywood frame so that a drain could be installed below it to take any water that leaked out of the washing machine straight outside. For some reason, the designers of this product have designed it so that the overflow pipe sticks up approximately a centimetre above the bottom of the tray. Thus, when water is released into the tray it just sits there until it reaches quite a high level and then there is no way to drain it through the drainage pipe. So it gets a star for catching the water and not letting it leak directly on to the floor. If you have a way of sucking up dirty water - other than through a straw - this might be good enough for you. If you're not into that sort of thing or don't own a straw or a water hoover then it will not, I imagine, be of much help to you - if, like me, you want it to drain the water away. Instead, like me, you will have to soak the lot up with a towel or similar and then put the towel in a bucket or similar and then cart it outside and hurl it into the garden in frustration. Yay!! Wine first.
