I am installing electric cooling fans into an old antique/classic car. It will have 4 smaller-size fans, rather than 1 or 2 larger fans. It will have 2 pushers and 2 pullers. The fans are normally pullers. Have to flip the fan blades to convert the pullers to pushers, and run the motors in the opposite direction. All the electrical wires will be colored correctly (positive being RED, negative BLACK). These Polarity Reverse Adapters will allow me to switch the polarity on the pushers without violating the color coding. These are good quality adapters at a good price, very handy, very cost-effective.

Great item to have to easily reverse the polarity of an SAE connector. Everybody should have a couple of these rolling around in their tool bag. I use them often when hooking up and fixing solar a panels and their finiky controllers on boats and RV's

Very tight fit hard to connect had to put die electric grease on.After that they worked well.

When jump starting a battery the polarity needs to match - positive to positive/negative to negative, otherwise the amperage output will be boosted creating potentially harmful risks. This adapter allows two batteries equipped with SAE power ports to be joined together for the purpose of jump starting or charging.I have a Battery Tender Junior, which also came with 1 SAE power to ring connector adapter and 1 SAE power to alligator clamps. I have the ring connectors attached to the battery on my motorcycle and the SAE plug end in a fixed accessible location. I used an SAE extension cable (purchased separately) and one of these adapters along with the alligator clamps to jump start a friends bike. We were out riding and his battery drained unexpectedly. We were able to get it started again and return home avoiding towing expenses. After that, he also purchased a Battery Tender and installed the ring adapter on his bike. Now if it happens again, all we have to do is connect this polarity adapter between the two and get back on the road.

Fits well, feels sturdy. Just what I needed. Used in an out of the way spot in a custom wiring job. All visible wires now match “expected” color scheme at battery end, and at trailer connector end. So far, it’s keeping water out in my garden tractor application
