I love the color!
Ladies and gentlemen meet my new travel companions: the Samsonite three-piece luggage set in the most eye-catching "Caribbean Blue" you've ever seen. This set is so fabulous it should have its own boarding pass. First off, the color. Caribbean Blue. Imagine the most serene, tropical waters you've ever seen, now imagine that as luggage. It's not just a color; it's a statement. When these beauties roll onto the luggage carousel, you’ll spot them faster than you can say "margarita." No more playing luggage roulette or accidentally grabbing someone else’s black suitcase. Speaking of rolling, let’s talk wheels. These babies glide like they're auditioning for an Olympic figure skating team. Navigating through crowded airports has become a breeze, and I’ve even found myself taking the long way to my gate just to enjoy the smooth ride. And with three different sizes, I’m ready for anything from a weekend getaway to an “I’m escaping to a tropical island forever” adventure. Now, the built-in TSA-approved locks. These locks are like little bouncers for my belongings, ensuring that my valuables stay safe and sound without any hassle at security. The locks also make me feel like a secret agent every time I pop them open, ready to reveal my perfectly packed wardrobe to the world (or just to the TSA agent). The interiors of these cases are equally impressive. Spacious and organized, with enough room to fit all my travel essentials and then some. And let’s not forget the little compartments that make me feel super organized (even if it’s just an illusion). In conclusion, this Samsonite luggage set has transformed my travel game. They’re stylish, practical, and give me an extra spring in my step as I navigate through airports. If you want to travel in style and make your luggage part of the vacation vibes, do yourself a favor and get this set. Just be prepared for a few envious glances and possibly some fan mail for your fabulous taste in luggage. Bon voyage!

Durable and resists scratches.
Large, roomy and well made. I had a smaller version and it’s been very durable and resists showing scratches and wear.

Great Product, but read this IMPORTANT ADVICE if shopping for your first hard suitcase
This is a very good quality suitcase. It was the first hard case that I've bought. For the most part, I am satisfied, but I wish I had known a couple more bits of information before I purchased. If you are also buying YOUR FIRST HARD CASE, read these IMPORTANT TIPS. TIP #1: This case closes with a ZIPPER ONLY. It does not have a latch. Zipper-only hard cases are more vulnerable to malfunction because zippers can break or split apart with stress or excessive wear. If the zipper splits on this case, you do will have a latch as a backup method to keep your case closed and you may find your self in a predicament when you need to check your broken-zippered bag at the airport. Therefore, if you buy this case, be sure to also buy luggage straps. Luggage straps are extremely effective to keep your case closed and will help prevent excessive stress or damage to the zipper. When buying luggage straps, write your initials on each strap with a permanent marker. This will not only help identify your bag in a busy airport, but also make the straps less desirable for thieves. TIP #2: I bought the (very large) 28-inch version of this case because I wanted to have plenty of space to pack for long international trips. In hindsight, I wish I had bought a size or two smaller because filling up a case this big with normal items like clothing, shoes, and toiletries will almost always put you over the airline weight limits (and be very heavy to lift). The case is very light, but I can only fill it up about 75% to avoid paying the "excess weight" fees. With the case being 25% empty, I have lots of open space in the bag and my belongings bounce around inside. When I arrive at my destination, I often find my loosely packed belongings out of order and disheveled. For my next suitcase, I will buy something a tad bit smaller so I can fill 90% or 100%. When filled to 90-100%, my belongings would be tightly packed and more secure inside.

No complaints after my first trip!
TL;DR: I highly recommend this set. It looks great, seems sturdy and durable in my limited use, and is priced just right. Got the 3-piece set ahead of a week-long trip because I wanted something that looked good and that I could use for years to come. These were priced right within my budget and, in my opinion, were worth the cost. There are cheaper options for luggage, but if you travel on any sort of cadence, you know that quality and durability is the name of the game and that you typically need to pay a bit more for that. I think these strike a perfect balance of affordability, durability, design, and brand reputation. Samsonite was recommended numerous times on reddit's /r/BuyItForLife subreddit, so I decided on this set after reading some of the reviews. I've read reviews that say that Samsonite's quality has gone down, and that may or may not be true, but I haven't experienced any issues. I think it's important to keep in mind that there's always a possibility that someone received a faulty set. That would be frustrating, but it happens. I don't necessarily think it's fair to write off the entire set because you happened to get one from a bad batch. I do think that Samsonite may need to improve it's quality control if this kind of scenario is common enough, but I personally had no issues. I had my checked bag packed tight, even slightly over weight, and had no issues picking it up by the extendable handle. Even though that's generally not advisable, the luggage felt sturdy and I didn't feel like I was on the verge of breaking it like I have with cheaper luggage. The wheels were buttery smooth even going over carpet, the expandable handles glide in and out smoothly, and there are some nice pockets within the luggage where you could put smaller items like AirTags, small accessories, charging cables, spare change, or whatever other miscellaneous small items you might have. If you're like me and get analysis paralysis and can't decide, just buy these. You'll be happy you did.

Smooth Travel Companion with Room to Spare
Smooth Travel Companion with Room to Spare This Samsonite Omni PC 24-inch checked spinner hits a sweet spot between durability, style, and function. The hard polycarbonate shell feels rugged enough to handle baggage handlers without showing every scuff, and the textured finish helps hide scratches so it keeps looking good after multiple trips. The expansion zipper adds just enough space for souvenirs or that extra sweater, and the interior divider and cross-straps keep clothes relatively organized. I really appreciated how easy it was to maneuver through airports—those spinner wheels glide smoothly in every direction without much effort. The handle telescopes firmly without wobbling, and the suitcase itself isn’t overly heavy, which means I can pack it fully without worrying too much about hitting airline weight limits. If there’s one thing to keep in mind, it’s that while the 24-inch size is perfect for a week’s worth of travel, it may be tight for anyone packing bulkier winter clothes or gear. Also, the interior isn’t fancy—it’s functional but basic, so if you like lots of compartments you may want packing cubes. Bottom line: A stylish, tough, and easy-to-roll mid-size suitcase that’s a great value for frequent travelers who want a reliable checked bag without extra fuss.

Great bag, terrible wheels
What can I say. Almost 6 years later, I’ve gotten some USE out of my bags. Overall, quality I can’t complain. You can pack it well, storage never an issue. Great. The bad: the wheels, terrible. I’ve had to replace the wheels on the carry on and medium because they don’t hold up. Hard to push on varying surfaces, and just aren’t sturdy.
