Review: great instructional book - This book was recommended to me by an artist I took a workshop with.... I bought it on his recommendation that it would help me with understanding color... I have been engaging in the book slowly doing all that is recommended and as of yet have not gotten to the specific tasks.... still working on the color wheel and mixing the specific colors... excellent.... already have gotten my moneys worth out of it!!

She told me the book was no nonsense the best book on painting instruction she has ever read and I agree with her 100 percent. If only I had had access to this book earlier. But at least I own a copy, before the prices were so inflated. Such an amazing book, it teaches you how to "see" color, and the technical applications of applying paint. Any one who is serious about painting should invest in this incredible book.
