Review: Good Price, Good Quality - I'm using this to measure out salt, sugar and other small amounts of ingredients for bread making. If it cost any more I'd say it was overkill. It only measures up to 70 g so the ingredient container needs to be significantly less that the 70 g. This rules out my Anchor Hocking measuring tumblers. A very small Glad plastic storage container works perfectly. I just tare out the weight of the container before adding ingredients to weigh. I'm new to baking and recently learned weight measurements are much more accurate than volume so I convert everything. My kitchen scale works fine for measuring out the flour, water and such but for anything below say 10 g then I needed something more responsive. This scale measures down to 0.01 g which is more accuracy than needed. The big advantage is you can see the numbers climb as you add tiny amounts of ingredients. My kitchen scale jumps a gram at a time. The build seems very quality. I'm surprised that for under $10 I could pick up such a decent product. I have a 50 g weight on the way to check the accuracy. Another overkill for my purposes but it appeals to my geek nature.
