Monteverde USA Ink, 90 ml Documental Permanent Black (G308DB)

Superior quality, works well in all my fountain pens, smooth flowing and now clogging, absolutely beautiful colors and a joy to write with. Great price for 90ml bottles.

This brand ink has never let me down and quickly became my favorite after buying "California Teal". This bottle of ink is not only lubricated to keep my pen working each and every time, but is also permanent, making it suitable for watercolor illustration, writing, and so much more. It works on cheap paper as well as fountain pen papers.

Very good price, prompt shipping, good presentation. The black intensity is a little weaker than I expected, like a black grey. Photo of my journal, Monteverde black documental ink on the left, Carbon Ink by Platinum on the right. Worth noticing that Monteverde’s water resistance is excellent, and so is the price point. Just not for me.

Just a great color blue. Looks great on paper. Works well with any size nib you use. Bottle size is perfect. Just the right amount.

Arrived promptly and in perfect condition, no leaks. I haven't tried it out yet (fountain pens are all full at the moment) but I read the reviews prior to purchase and am confident in how it will perform. Nice amount of ink for the price, should last a long time. I will be using it for journaling and for pen work with watercolor, which is why I wanted an ink that stays on the paper. I give it 5 stars for the safe delivery alone.

Very disappointed! First of all, it's gray, like a pencil line. It's not a deep rich black. Second, the description says permanent which i took to be waterproof so that I could watercolor with it. It smears and runs. On the plus side, it flows nicely.

My favorite carbon ink went up in price a lot. so took a chance here. waterproof and works in fountain pen. Not as black or as "wet" so line comes out thinner. But good surprise

The 3 oz. bottle has a plastic seal around the bottle cap that is solid, not scored, so I cannot take off the cap. I used brute strength, an exacto knife, a steak knife, and a screwdriver without success. I have no doubt that the ink is wonderful. I just cannot get to it without risk of slicing myself in the process. Because I’ve damaged the cap, I’m afraid I cannot simply return the bottle.

Encre résistante (il serait mensonger de dire indélébile) et satisfaisante ; elle reste néanmoins quelque peu trop liquide et dans des plumes B voire BB, elle coule quelque fois.

Buon inchiostro Un bel blu documental Scorre bene

Vraiment une encre imperméable. La couleur est d'un bleu assez moyen, mais l'encre est waterproof au même prix qu'une bouteille de waterman ou pelikan.

I have several Monteverde inks already, and I got this one specifically for addressing envelopes, as it is permanent. A really nice rich blue. Very happy to get it more than a week ahead of date promised, too.
