The smart banter I came to love in the first book, turned into worrying about Belle, and Belle getting hurt and needing to be saved - so much for a strong heroine.With that said, I still adored this book, and if given the opportunity, I would read the series again! As she gets drawn further into Hammond's web, Smith realizes he can't let her go this time. There are also some heartwarming moments the couple share that leaves you rooting for them all the way.
