Controller works great on my ps2, tough and durable

Absolutely a great product. Its nearly identical to OEM and, for the price, I'd say it's preferable. There are horribly made generic controllers out there for the same price or more than this one, and yet this one is so much better that it's not even comparable.

For the most part, this controller has a decent feel to it. The biggest problem for the feel is in the shoulder buttons, which feel like they stick if you don't press them a specific way. When I tried this controller on my PS2, it worked perfectly. When I tried it on my PS1 SCPH-1001, the controls were inconsistent and finicky. When I use a real Sony dual shock 2 on the same PS1, I don't experience these issues. I don't know if the controller ports in later models, such as the SCPH-101 PSOne, are any different in their responsiveness, but for my experience, I can currently only recommend this controller for use on a PS2, where it functioned reasonably well given the price.

Everything works, but when I got my controller out of the box something was making a rattling sound inside. when I try to use it, all of the buttons like to spam/double press and are inconsistent unless you firmly press them. For the joysticks, both of the potentiometer (sensors for joysticks) are not very accurate, and also the joysticks themselves are made of crappy hard plastic instead of rubber and have sharp edges. so I took the controller apart, I noticed there's only 1 vibration motor, instead of 2. And the counter-weight on the motor was very small - contributing to weaker vibration feelings. To fix the buttons from spamming, i put a small bit of die-electric grease on the button contacts. also, I replaced the sharp plastic joysticks for some xbox 360 joysticks.

I needed a controller to replace my other one. This one works flawlessly. It's lighter than the original but it's fine. Played some streets hoops and spawn Armageddon without any issues. Definitely will buy another one. Thank you

This thing is flimsy, the buttons are mushy, and the joysticks feel super cheap. There's basically nothing to this thing, it feels super light and I can feel it twist in my hands with just a little pressure. I get that this is only $14 but wow is this bad. It feels bad to play with and I don't know how but it feels like it adds latency to everything. Maybe only buy this if you have a little kid who wants to play with you and they can't tell how bad it is. Or if you're just REALLY desparate.
