Organic Turmeric Curcumin with Black Pepper Extract 2000mg - High Absorption Ultra Potent Supplement - 95% Curcuminoids - Vegan, Non GMO - 120 Capsules

I've read a lot about the benefits (real and imagined) of various herbal compounds. I became curious about several of these compounds, because of some health issues I have experienced (sadly, I keep getting older, so I have to concern myself with these things). I'm not a big believer in superstition and heresay. I really prefer solid evidence. However, I am also sufficiently open minded and willing to try things for myself. What doesn't work for some people, might work for others. That being said, I decided to try Turmeric supplements. The first time I took one, I experienced some major flushing (e.g., I turned bright red), which I suppose is expected. The good news was, Turmeric seems to help alleviate some of the symptoms I was experiencing (I'm being vague because I don't care to discuss my health history for the entire Internet). I later learned that the particular brand of Turmeric I was using, had a hidden California Prop 65 warning sticker on the bottom of the bottle. That really disturbed me. The advertisement on Amazon did not mention this little detail. I decided I would not use that particular brand again. Other customers had also discovered this little fact, as evidenced by their Amazon reviews. So I decided to look for another brand to try. I presume that if a product doesn't have a CA prop 65 warning or sticker on the product, that it doesn't need one (I really am hoping that's true). After searching through the various products on Amazon, I narrowed my choices down to a few brands, including Dr. Danielle's Curcumin. Clearly, there was a significant price difference between what I'd previously purchased, and the other products I was examining. I have to assume that's because the previous product I was using, was somehow deficient or flawed (you can search through my reviews if you're truly curious as to what the other brand was). So I decided to pull the trigger and try Dr Danielle's Turmeric. I was attracted by the fact that this is an organic product, and contains a compound intended to enhance its effectiveness (Bioperine). Apparently this is a special sort of black pepper extract that makes the Turmeric more effective. My education is not in chemistry, so I did a little searching and learned that this Bioperine is a product that can also be purchased alone, for the purpose of enhancing the effectiveness of other compounds. So Dr. Danielle's product is really offering a little extra bang for the buck, as it were, by including this compound in their product. I also noticed that most of the other Turmeric compounds I compared, did not also include Bioperine. It is unclear why that is the case. So earlier this week, I received my bottle of Turmeric, and took one immediately. I noticed that once again I became flushed, which had not happened in quite some time. I don't know if that's because I was taking a compound that was more effective than the other brand I had been using, but I can't really think of any other reason why that would happen. More importantly, I noticed that it helped alleviate my symptoms from (the health condition that I'm not discussing openly). It's not a huge effect, but it is noticeable. So, is it worth the extra effort and cost? I suppose that depends on your point of view. I look at this as a quality of life issue. If I can help improve my quality of life a little, by taking an organic supplement, that other cultures have used for medicinal purposes for a Really Long Time (thousands of years, if you believe Wikipedia), then why not? Yes, it's among the more expensive brands. But it didn't come with a hidden CA prop 65 warning sticker on the bottom of the bottle! Which is a big plus to me. And it's working just as well, if not better than what I had been using before.

If there were ten stars I would give this product ten.I purchased this product for my husband and myself about two months ago. I had the classic symptoms of a bone spur in my right heel, all of the pain is gone. I don't take these religiously with a hectic work life sometimes I forget and I have still found excellent results. Now for my husband he is 62 years old and is your typical stubborn male who balks at any suggestions I have given him to take any type of supplements for his health. He complained about how all of his joints ached and it takes him awhile "to get going" before he didn't have pain in his ankles, his hands hurt him after he played his guitar, he has carpal tunnel in both hands. So I told him that I wanted him to try the Turmeric and to pay attention to his body and how it feels, and that I had read that this could help him. He was desperate enough this time that he didn't put up much of a fight. I handed him the pills the first week to make sure he took them, after a week he told me he thought they were working. I knew that they must be because soon when I would go to give him his pill he started saying he had already taken them on his own. Then when he was packing for a business trip and without me asking if he was bringing them I saw him put them in his suitcase. Now I was really convinced that they were helping him. He told me that at about three weeks is when he noticed that he had no more pain! He told me that Turmeric Curcumin has changed his life and that he plans on taking this product the rest of his life. To hear him say that is just amazing! When I told him that I was writing a review for this product he said if you did a commercial about this product he would want to be in it. He also asked me to tell a coworker where I got it from so he could try it. For my husband to be talking about this and how it has helped him you know it is working for him. Yesterday at Thanksgiving he gave some of his pills to his brother so he can try them out as well. Thank you for creating such a quality affordable product. The reason I chose this product over some others was because it is made with organic turmeric and there are no fillers etc. We are also giving it to our 11 year old dog who is showing signs of age and have seen improved mobility with him as well.

All natural ingredients. No harsh after taste. Easy to take. Helped almost immediately with joint pain. This was wonderful as its been awhile since I have felt this much relief in my knees. Great product!!

Really good product. No soy, gluten or any artificial additives.
