BlackBerry ACC62174001 Leather Holster Priv

Blackberry makes the absolutely best swivel leather holsters in the WORLD. This Leather Holster is the Perfect size for my new iPhone XR Phone. Note, I do have a thin protective cover on my iphone as well as a screen protector, despite this the holster is exactly the right size to hold my iPhone and still provide easy access and removal of my iPhone XR...as if made to hold the iPhone XR

I'm using this "Priv" case for a Blackberry Keyone. I read it could be used for a Keyone and it fits fine. Good price & well made. I bought a couple at this price.

I don't know how durable this holster is but the Clip kept coming unglued on my last one for my Leap holster. Its a simple ting to fix but the only issue I've had but it big. Nothing on this one so far but i'm sure it will come loose.

Nicer than I expected

Same excellent quality as the holsters for earlier Blackberrys, use this every day, sturdy and a tight fit for the Priv - fit is often what does cheap knockoffs in.

Concur with the other reviewers - the case appeared to be reasonably well made and the built-in magnet locks the phone when re-holstering. Unfortunately, the case is too snug and hasn't changed much with extended use. Hopefully, this will improve. Update - same problems - clip detaches from the case - had to be glued back on. The case itself lacks structure and essentially fell apart. I ordered a new case and had the same issues (see photos). The excessively snug fig never improved even when I tried the new case. Would not recommend this case.

Good belt-clip holster-case for the BlackBerry Priv. Holds the Priv well, easy to slide in and out, magnetic closure stays put but is still easy to open one-handed. I've been happy with it, except... Its durability could be better. My first one of these lasted about eight months before the glued-into-place clip separated from the case. No warning that I could tell, it just gave out one day and fell off. I bought a second one of these later on, and that one lasted about a year before the same thing happened. At its current price (~$7), eight to twelve months of usability seems pretty decent (although this may vary depending on the manner of its usage), but that moment when the clip suddenly detaches and the phone falls to the ground (and hopefully you notice) is a big con waiting to happen.

Update (05/25/16): As other reviewers have reported, after about 2 months of use, the swivel clip has separated from the leather portion, so I'm lowering my rating to a 3. It appears the clip is simply held in place with glue. I have included a video showing the abomination. Original review: I'm confused by the negative reviews. This holster is typical BlackBerry quality, which is to say the quality is very high. The holster was a bit tight at first but it only took a few days to break in. I like the matte finish on this holster more than the shiny finish on the Z10 holster. My first reaction to the negative reviews was perhaps the customers received non-genuine products from a 3rd party seller. I've been using BB's genuine holsters since the Pearl 8130 and have never been disappointed. I'm glad the Priv holster wasn't ridiculously priced like the Passport one ($150). Even though holsters are out of fashion these days, they are still the most efficient way to carry a phone.

Had it a few months now, no problems with everyday use (general outdoor work use). My KeyOne is a little loose in it but not so that you'd notice. Had no issue with it coming off the belt clip like others have reported. Would buy again (not that it is showing any signs of use yet!) and useful given the absence of a genuine holder for the KeyOne (come on Blackberry!!!)

As other reviewers have noted, the rotating belt clip is poorly glued to the body of the case. When it came apart, I reattached it with some strong glue, and the problem seems to be permanently fixed. The leather is very soft to the touch, and I was afraid that it might wear out quickly. Not so. I have been using the holster daily for many months, and it is standing up much better than I expected. I bought this holster for use with my BlackBerry KEY2. The phone fits in the case fine, but I had to add a magnet for the "In and Out of Holster" sensor to work. (I assume the PRIV phone has its sensor in a different location.) I determined the correct spot, cut a tiny slot in the outer leather of the body, and glued a 3/16" diameter disk magnet in place. It works perfectly. I couldn't find a holster made for my KEY2, but with a little work, this one has worked very well.
