We are enjoying the Brio train pieces. The pieces are interactive, my toddler creates his story from the magnetic crates, arm that Carries the crates and the truck that Carries the crates through the track. So much fun. Brio is our ultimate favorite toys. My son is 3 and it’s the only toy that keeps him focused are his trains.

I demonstrated this one time for my 2.5 year old and he instantly understood and started playing with it. My 6 year old also immediately figured it out and enjoyed it. This is not our first crane for our wooden train set so the idea of lifting cargo was already there. However most crane use a string that is cranked or use a manual lever to get the magnet onto the cargo. This crane is different in that you turn a knop to lower and lift the crane arm, and when it is lifted high enough, another part of the crane will remove the cargo onto the loading platform. This process can easily be performed one-handed which makes it novel and fun. There is a second step, where you lift the loading platform to slide the cargo onto the truck (or another train car if you set it up that way), and this action is also rather smooth. We have multiple brands of wooden trains mixed together. I’ve often wondered if Brio is worth the extra cost. For this little crane, I’d say it was absolutely worth it. It is unique, feels very durable and well crafted, and was immediately engaging for my children.

This is too cool. The crane action works very well, automatically dumps the box into the loading tray. When the truck (or other flat car) is backed into position the loading tray can be tilted and the box perfectly slides onto the small posts. Great fun. I love the truck. My son discovered after playing with the truck for a month straight that the cab tilts forward and reveals an engine!

My grandson picked it out for Christmas and he wasn’t disappointed. Double loading feature is cool.

So well made, tons of fun! We got this for our 3 yr old and he loves it! But there were many adults around who enjoyed playing with it too. The quality is outstanding and well worth the price to add to an existing set. We have very generic wood tracks and this fit perfectly.

This one is a must have for your brio track. It is one of my son’s favorites to play with. It connects well with the other sets and provides lots of entertainment as well!

My grandson went head over heels upon receiving this Freight Goods Station to add to his collection of Brio toys. The toy has been built so it will last a very long time with proper use.
