I'm on my sixth box of Affresh, which should tell you how well this works for me. I have a front-loading washer, and these tablets have completely eliminated the mildew smell that front-loaders are notorious for. Each box comes with 5 tablets, and I use one monthly as recommended (or every 30 cycles if you do laundry less frequently). It's such an easy thing to do for maintenance - just toss a tablet in an empty machine and run a cleaning cycle. The washer smells fresh and clean afterward, with no musty or mildew odors lingering. For context, I've been using this consistently for over a year now, and my washer still smells great. It's become part of my regular home maintenance routine, along with changing air filters and cleaning the dryer vent. One note for Hawaii residents: I had issues ordering this with Subscribe & Save (Amazon kept blocking shipment to Hawaii), but I was able to get it shipped by purchasing it as a one-time order instead. Worth the minor inconvenience. Highly recommend, especially if you have a front-loading washer. This is a simple solution that actually works.

Front loading washing machines can get a very musty odor. We have a newer style of machine that has an extra venting feature, which helps with this issue and we don't have to leave the door open to achieve that venting effect. Even so, periodically using this washing machine cleaner helps to clean up the insides which you can't see from the outside. The instructions are straight-forward, and I've had good success with the effectiveness. If you want your clothes to come out clean and smelling fresh, having your washing machine in best shape helps make that happen. The product is a useful tool in that goal.

Simple to use. My washer has a setting Use Affresh Cleaner so after 5 years I bought the tabs to try out. The gunk in the utility basin next to the washer was filled with disgusting! The washer basin was so clean afterwards. Seeing and smelling a clean washer basin compelled me to wipe down the entire machine and the dryer. I’ll try Affresh wipes next time, but Amazon wipes and Clorox non-bleach and Lysol wipes work fine, just thin wipes so I used about 4 in total. First time using Affresh products. This is a monthly tan and the box holds 6 tabs. Good quality! I don’t know if it foams; I walked away after starting the clean washer cycle and only saw the non foamy funky water once in passing while near the washer. No color that I was aware of. No discernible smell. Using hot water as instructed, there was no residue to wipe away afterwards. I’ll bu6 this product again.

This was my first time buying and using Affresh. My washer had started to smell a bit musty, so I decided to give this a try. I just dropped one tablet in and ran the cleaning cycle, and honestly, it worked better than I expected. The smell was mostly gone and the drum looked cleaner. I’m giving it 4 stars because it didn’t make the washer smell “brand new,” but for a first use, it definitely made a noticeable difference. I’m planning to use the rest monthly to keep it clean. An appliance repair buddy recommended an Affresh brand product for cleaning our old dishwasher and in the meantime I noticed they had another product for clothes washing machines so I bought this at the same time and ran it in our clothes washer and it immediately cleared out a musty smell that's developed over years of use. Easy to use just follow the instructions and you'll be happy you did! I recommend this product! The tub is cleaner than ever and the smells are gone.

I believe this definitely keeps my expensive washer in top shape My neighbor also uses Affresh Washing Machine Cleaner .....because we share the box - she uses hers to help keep her 15 year old washer going and she also appreciates the fresh scent and how clean the washers are after being treated to a tablet! 2 different types, models and ages of washers and Affresh works for both!

Very effective as saw lots of gunk floating in the machine. I only needed one tablet. Great knowing Affresh doesn't (hopefully) cause any damage over time. I didn't wish to use vinegar as I value my Maytag washing machine too much. Highly recommend to anyone still deciding.

Como pueden ver en las fotos las pastillas están selladas de manera individual y en la caja se va marcando el mes en el que se puso la pastilla de limpieza para llevar un mejor control. Estoy segura que me ayudará mucho la limpieza de mi lavadora.
