Paiste PST 7 Hi-Hat Cymbals 14" (pair)

I love them they sound amazing just what I wanted... very crispy

I bought these as a new drummer just venturing into "Paiste-ville". Been a Zildjian player my whole life until I got a Giant Beat 20" and a PST-7 19" thin crash. So I needed a set of hats to blend with those. These hats are crisp, and have that Paiste shimmer. They aren't top of the line, no but they look and feel like higher value cymbals than what their price suggests.

These $200 Paste cymbals are as good as any I’ve played. I’ve tried a variety of brands, but these consistently give me the sound I’m looking for at a price I can live with. I’ve have much more expensive brands and series including Zildjian K’s and continually keep these as the go to. I first played paste hi hat cymbals around 1984. I’m very pleased with the quality sound and weight. You can spend a lot more money, but not have superior quality, in my honest opinion. I’m not trying to discount the K’s. They are excellent for some stuff. So I keep them on the set, not as a high hat, but a hi hat configuration.

Awesome hats. I've been playing for 25 yrs every weekend. Great price, clean, crisp, quick, nice sizzle, I like them better than my AA 14 in. Metal hats I've used for 10 years. Just like the 2002 model. Paiste sound quality. Buy these !

Fantastic high hats for the money. To my ear, the medium hats are brighter than other comparable popular brands, but nicely cut with a clear chick. Basically half the price of something like New Beats, but still providing quality sound and feel. No these aren’t Paiste 2002s, but great quality cymbals with those looking for great value and sound.
