All reviews I've read say the pillows look great, but has anyone actually used one? You know... for sleeping, or are these just for filling shams?

I realize this question is very old BUT... I use them for decor but I also started using for sleeping. My husband uses the queen pillow size for sleeping and I bought a body pillow that I started using while pregnant instead of a pregnancy pillow. These are very full, heavy/solid pillows. My husband and daughter were having a pillow fit the other day and once the pillowflex pillow was used My daughter went flying (on the bed) because these pillows definitely have some weight to them. Extremely comfortable for lounging and sleeping but still look amazing for decor!

Can these be washed in the washer and dryer?

I washed our king size pillows today and had no issues! Deep water wash and medium heat with dryer balls. I read somewhere it’s best to do an even number like that (ie 2 pillows instead of one at a time) so the cycle can wash/spin/dry without a heavy lopsided cycle. Worked great for me. Super fluffy just like day one. These pillows are amazing.

I also need to purchase inserts for a 20x26 standard pottery barn sham. should i order the 20x26 insert?

A larger insert gives you a fluffier pillow that stands up on its own better. That's why I bought a 28 x 28 insert for a 26 x 26 cover. This is what interior decorators generally recommend, and it provides a fabulous look.

My lumbar pillow cover is 12X 20... I only see a 12 x 24? should I use this?

Maybe it will be alittle bit long for 12x20. Mu pillows is 18x18 and I bought 18x18. The size about this pillow is perfect.
