I bought these individually cartons of whole milk because 1 milk is perfect for a bowl of cereal. I eat 1 bowl a day to help me gain weight. I have H Pylori and I weigh 105 lbs due to the H Pylori, so my dietitian suggested these because it's whole milk and I can sprinkle chocolate protein powder on the cereal for extra weight gain. They come in a 6 pack. The milk tastes super fresh, and tastes better than store bought milk. You can put them in a lunch box for school or work. The price was very reasonable, and I noticed it is EBT eligible for those who have EBT. They are 8 oz each. They are 150 calories per bottle. With 8 g of protein. I have even put protein powder in one to make chocolate milk. They are very convenient for camping, boating, hikes, etc. The consistency of the milk is not too thick, it's smooth and delicious. And they are organic. The whole 6 pack of milk does not take up too much room in your fridge. I slid mine in the fridge with ease. Remember, 8 g of protein in each bottle. I highly recommend Horizon organic whole milk.

This milk is perfect for those of us who don't drink much milk but need to keep it on hand for the occasional bowl of cereal or for certain recipes. It is IDEAL for bad weather when power outages are likely. It is shelf stable and has a few months storage life. It is real milk, so it tastes like real milk and has the texture of real milk. It IS real milk. I've used it for years and used to get it at the grocery store. They no longer carry it, so thank goodness for Amazon! It is always in my fridge (although it could be in my cabinet instead). It is a bit more expensive than bottled milk, but if you normally use just a bit of the bottle and throw away the rest, this boxed milk will save you money in the long run.

This is the only milk my son will drink, and only the vanilla milk. We go through a pack of this in a few days. Expensive kid lol. He loves the taste, It’s good because you can keep it on the shelf or fridge, so great for travel. The size is also good for lunch boxes at school. It’s getting harder and harder to find in stores and if they have it, at the time of the review two local stores have it one for $16.99 and the other for $17.99. Amazon has by far the cheapest price and brings it to your door. The sugar content is a little high but it’s better than other things out there.

Great for cooking, and love that it is shelf-stable without the flavor of the can. This milk has NOT changed the flavor of any of my recipes so far. We don't enough milk to always need a carton so this is a practical substitute. Hubby tried drinking one by itself with a couple of cookies and he says it's okay, and drinkable as-is. Better than canned or powdered, but still not the same as fresh - so 4 stars instead of 5. But, if you are looking for an alternative to canned milk that's much better than powdered, this works.

Horizon organic Milk shelf-stable milk boxes very well could last up to 75 days to 4 months depending on packaging Unopened at room temperature, while store bought refrigerated cartons typically last for several weeks until the best-by date. Once opened, this product must be refrigerated * and recommended use within at least 7 days. Personal description about taste : is more like evaporated milk which for me is a guilty pleasure in my coffee. Each 8 oz. Container contains 12g of total sugar (0g added sugar) and 130mg of sodium (6% DV) per serving. I absolutely love it ! Recommendation: store in a dark cool place if storing on shelf for long periods.
