BonJour Chef's Tools Plastic Salad Dressing Carafe and Handheld Mixer, 12-Ounce, Salad Chef, White/Clear

I absolutely love this salad dressing mixer. Not only did I buy one for myself, I loved it so much that I bought another one to give it to my aunt as a gift. I'm sad to see that they no longer make this product.

I got this on the recommendation of my son, who is a gourmet cook. Didn't even know such a device existed! Well, it has proved to be a winner, as it's easy to use, easy to clean, and above all it works!!! The salad dressing stays emulsified. Another use is for fluffy scrambled eggs, how about that? Crack two or three eggs into a bowl, and blend until puffed up and creamy looking. Cook as usual for your scrambled eggs - viola! I find it fun to use.

This product does a really great job at whipping up just about everything...but the actual job of holding down the darned diagonally-built "on-button"...isn't so easy. Why they built this button on the diagonal, just doesn't make sense, and is counter intuitive. The older model had a flat-topped on-button, and it was a breeze to use. Not so much anymore, now that you are effectively forced to push the button diagonally sideways...not an ergonomic move at all. Also, the cap provided to top off the container that comes with the unit, has not been designed to screw onto the container...ergo, it is constantly popping off as you handle the container and it's contents. Poor design choice as well. But again...after all is said and done, this mixer, whilst perhaps difficult to use...does a masterly job at whipping up just about everything!!!

The product felt well made out of the box. This is my second one from the same company. My first one last of years. They change the button style which is absolutely ridiculous. Forces the whole enter battery compartment on the spring to activate. A stupid engineering. ‘Upgrade’ as it was hard to press the button originally, but now it doesn’t even work. I change the batteries to four brand new Duracells and nothing. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Love this. Great for protein shake mixing or mixing protein powder into your coffee in the morning. I actually just bought a second one so I had one at work also. I'm doing a great weight loss plan that I've lost 40 lb on and there are some shakes that I drink in the mornings and this is awesome. I think it works better than the frothers that you can get online cuz I don't necessarily want my drink frothy I just want it mixed.

It's the best and easiest tool to mix anything. I wish it was rechargeable instead of batteries. I dropped my last one and broke so this is a replacement.

The bottle is nice looking. While it is plastic, it looks like glass, and the recipes on it give it a kind of farmhouse provincial appeal while also being useful. The mixer is a nice idea, but it turned out to not be worth the extra money as my milk frother works just as well and takes up far less storage space. My criticism is that the design only allows you to pour by removing the stopper. When you do that, the bottle neck gets oily inside and then the stopper won't stay in place....it repeatedly slides upward....so in order to get it to stay you have to wipe the oil off the stopper and out of the bottle neck after every pour. It would be far better to have a stopper with a spout or a flip top or something of that nature.

I love this item! I've had one for YEARS and I wanted a new one because my original one was difficult to clean and always clogging up. This new model is much easier to clean and should not clog up at all! I use it mainly to blend eggs, a glaze for a cake, salad dressings. Not expensive and I use it all the time!!!

I had this salad dressing mixer for over 10 years, but I use it so much it final gave out. It so easy to make salad dressing instead of buying bottle dressing that is filled with preservatives. It's also great for whipping up eggs.... I was so happy to find it on Amazon!😀

Works really well, easy to clean. Small yet powerful.
