What's the best way to store the oil-based markers? vertically tip up/down or horizontally?

I don't know what the company would say is the appropriate way to store the pens, but I put them in a jar with the tip down so that the oil paint is ready to use, rather than having to prime the tip every time. I figure that helps keep the tip from drying out, too. Only my opinion. I don't know for sure.

Can these be used to write on plant labels for outside plants

Hello Chyanne,Thank you for your e-mail. Works on virtually any surface- metal, pottery, wood, rubber, glass, plastic, stone and more plus it is water resistant. Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.Kind Regards,ElsieCustomer Service RepresentativeS&S Worldwide

Would these work on cork

The Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Markers work on most surfaces. We recommend you test the marker on a discreet area of your cork surface in order to determine if the desired results will be achieved.

Can it be used to fill in missing paint on cars?

I have only used mine on things inside that weren't exposed to the outside elements so I'm not sure how long it would stay on the car but the coverage would be good from what I can tell.
