Deep Bass, Clear Highs, and Mids work well for Music, Videos/Movies, and okay for Gaming... However, for it's intended nature, phone calls, the microphone was quite weak in picking up my voice. I have a soft voice, and it required me to practically yell to get to a "normal" volume level on the other end. If there was a physical rocker switch or something to change those mic input levels, it would be fantastic. Headphone ear cups are the most comfortable I've ever tried and allowed for an easy all-day wear with a lunch break to let the ears breathe, and no sweaty ears! They do quite well in isolating out outside noise by the seal they make on the ears.While I realize this headset is primarily built for Truck Drivers or Industrial workspaces where noise levels are high and constant, it would make sense to me why the low mic level may be set the way it is, to assist with noise suppression... but having an option to increase the mic level (thereby decreasing noise suppression), especially when there is no noise going on, such as a break from driving/working, etc... would be quite useful indeed, and would have made this a 5+ Star headset for sure.The greats:* Amazingly long-lasting Battery! 40+ hours real-word tested* Bluetooth - what a great feeling to be wireless and move around while working without worry of tripping* Audio from speakers is very goodThe Cons* Low mic input level, and no way to adjust/increase mic input level on the headset* Controls are sort of weird-- to Mute the mic you have to press the main control button and vol-down, and the feedback sound of muting is the same for Mute on and off. I didn't know if I was muted or not and after a minute of talking, I would always get a "Hello??" ...... quite frustrating. Other times, when I would toggle mute-on for the first time, I was still UNMUTED talking to the order board at the drive-through window, all the while talking over the group conference.... (embarrassing!!!)Now the really bad(I'm not sure if this set was a lemon headset or not...so I didn't lower the stars due to this)* BLUETOOTH CONNECTION WENT SOUTH - After a week, the Bluetooth connection quality dropped significantly. I don't have any other Bluetooth devices in my workspace, and for whatever reason, after one week, the connection would go extremely fuzzy/robot sounding in audio in and mic out sporadically for no obvious reason. Whether up close to my laptop or phone or far away, the result was the same. I tried troubleshooting by clearing the pairing and connected to new devices, and it was always the same, poor connection to the point I could not use them anymore... which made me quite SAD! I loved these things while they worked.In the end I had to make a return because the item was so defective with it's connection that I couldn't use them anymore. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent headset - great call & music both in quality & volume with background noise cancelling. *by S***K on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2018* My usage context: For the last 2 1/2 years I've used this most of the week in my home office next to the kitchen with my door open and many young kids playing nearby (8 kids). So, probably similar to standing next to a semi-truck in noise. I also had it on occasionally when I run my riding lawn mower but I don't like how dusty they get so I use my prior LG headset that doesn't get anywhere near the quality.Calls: The background noise is only heard by the caller when it is very loud right next to me. Noise as in a child crying right next to me can be heard in part but is diminished. Less loud sounds can barely heard at times and are described as 'line noise' if they can be heard at all. I've periodically asked clients I know well what they can hear and that was there feedback. Usually they say they can't hear anything extra.I have been told at times I can't be heard when I talk. I noticed it was due to the boon mic dipping to be out of place. If I align the mic correctly, I never get complaints.Music: I was very surprised how quality the sound is. It's as loud as I want it to be and with the music on I don't hear outside noise much at all. I have to take the headset off or at least pause the music to hear other what is going on around me.Comfort: I wear these all day long (6 to 14 hours a day) 5 or 6 days a week. I could wear them 7 days a week if I wanted to, but that implies I'm working too much.Battery Life: It runs all week with calls on and off in the day. Try and remember to charge it every few days but it will go over a week even with daily usage and long calls. My prior LG & Jabra headsets had trouble going a day and had to charge every night in comparison.Pairing: I have it dual paired to my Windows 10 Surface Book and my Galaxy s7 - no problems at all. I've paired it to all kinds of devices on and off as well including Win 7 Dell Laptop, Surface Pro, a car stereo, & iPhone. The range has been like 50 ft or more and rarely if ever had a drop until I walk downstairs many feet away from the devices (as in behind doors/walls etc). So, line of sight 50 ft or more, might be less if there are walls and closed doors. But you get a warning if you're about to drop and it always seems to reconnect if you go to far.After years of use I have only one complaint: the boon mic - it finally snapped from daily usage. Thus they lost a star because I have to buy another one and these aren't free. Unless they replace it with the warranty and if so I'll update it to 5 stars - no hesitation.I obviously recommend it and I am buying it again.UPDATE: The headset was replaced by the company at a discounted rate, which about $25 less than buying a new one on Amazon. If I could give another 1/2 star for the discounted replacement I would. I have older headsets that haven't broken like that but I also have used these more often. I chose this one because of 2 ear pieces.The package arrived. I charged them for 7 hours and nothing. They wouldn't turn on. I didn't NEED them the next day. While frustrated I called the company.They rushed me a brand new set. I spoke to them early on Tuesday and they were at my door by Friday afternoon. I charged them and couldn't be happier. The streaming of any audio is superb. I have found there is occasionally a "digital noise" from time to time. I'm not sure if it's a Bluetooth connection issue or if it's the blue tiger problem. However it is so minimal and is so short lived I can look past this minor imperfection. Im quite happy with them.Maybe one last critique. I have a small head. The headstrap, set at it's shortest, is still too tall. When the ear phones are on my ears the headstrap doesn't touch the top of my head.Gave 4 stars because of the brand new item showing up not working. I was taken care of and am happy with the service I received.After 6 months of using its been a great headset. The sound quality is usually as good as I had hoped. I would purchase it again.Now for the bad. Sometimes the connection sounds very digital. The allowable distance from your phone to the headset is no where near the advertised distance. It has stayed connected for up to 20 feet before but this is not typical. I have had my phone in my cargo pocket while wearing the headset and the connection will cut out.
