Purchased this for my 94 year old mother. This is a wonderful mat. She feels more confident in standing in the shower. The rubber treads definitely prevent her from slipping. Water drains effectively not leaving any standing water on the mat. The suction is great. Sometimes too much as I have to assist her to lift it up. It is easy to clean with a complete rinse and wipe down after each use. I would strongly recommend this if you are looking for a safe and secure shower mat. Would definitely purchase again.

So I've had this mat for about 2 weeks. My shower is now smaller due to a recent move and the old bathtub length mat we had was too big. The hard tile floor in the shower was also less comfortable to stand on. I also wanted something that was further off the ground for better drainage and so I would not be standing in a pool of water. This mat is the perfect height, allows water to flow down the drain better, and is comfortable to stand on. It's firm and not too soft or squishy, but feels good on the feet, more support than those thin no-skid mats. It's not very big, but my shower is small so this is the perfect fit - plenty of mat to stand on and move around on during a shower. The suction is very strong. I reached down the other day to move it and the suction was so good that when I pulled it, it wouldn't budge. I just left it. It can be moved if I really pulled on it, but if you're tired of the shower/tub mats moving around easily, this will give you relief. You can see the texture, height, and spacing of the slats on the pics. I recommend!

This is a great bathmat in terms of safety and mildew resistance: The suction cups are very secure and the design of the mat ensures good drainage. The downside is that it's not very comforable to stand on. The surface material is pretty hard plastic/rubber, and the gaps between the top slats are wide enough that it really gets a bit uncomfortable even after just a few minutes. I read other reviews saying similar things, but figured, hey, I'm in the shower only for 5-6 minutes, how bad can it be? But surprisingly (to me) it's pretty annoying even after only that small amount of time. I'm average weight, but do have somewhat flat feet, so this may make it worse for me. But if you are heavy or have feet problems, I would not recommend it. Much as I like the functional design, I probably would not buy it again, to be honest. Suggestion to manufacturer: This is a great design functionally, if it could be coated with a softer top finish, it would be a huge improvement. UPDATE, July 25, 2020: Seller was very responsive to my comments above, and graciously offered a refund, even though I had not asked for one. So despite my not being 100% happy with their product, I must say that I am very favorably impressed with the company itself. They really are serious about product quality and customer satisfaction, and I would be happy to try other products of theirs in the future.

this is a great and attractive mat and once in place stays put, Just be sure to push it down and secure it before stepping onto it.

All mats are not equal in how safe they are. If you're wanting non-slip, a mat for safety in the shower, this is it. We seniors want to avoid slipping, and SO many of our previous mats were more troublesome then helpful. This mat is heavy, its made of substantial material that by its weight alone, instantly sticks to the tub. (No floating possible) Its suctions cups are numerous but small so even though the mat is securely stuck, with a tug to lift the mat comes up for a rinse off. Mostly we love the traction and safe feel on this mat. It doesn't bother our feet, but know that it isn't soft and squishy, not meant for a cozy feeling. THX so much for the best shower mat we've ever had. (The blue is pretty but other colors would be appreciated.)

It is a comfortable, secure mat but the bottom gets moldy quickly (black) within a month and does not get clean, even with bleach. I have gotten 3 total to test out and they are the same- - I have tried rinsing after use, hanging it up to dry but nothing works and they are too expensive to just replace.

Best bath mat I have ever used! The suction is wonderful - it never moves once in place! Unlike other mats I have used, this one doesn't get slippery with use, which is great for safety. I simply spray it down at the end of the shower and it is clean and comfortable for the next use! It is not as big as I thought it would be, but I didn't read the dimensions when buying anyway. It is still plenty long enough to provide the safety needed in the shower. Great product, so happy to have found it!

We had recently installed a new walk-in shower insert. The floor of the shower seemed to get visibly dirty really quick so I wanted some kind of mat to protect the new white finish. It's a texture finish and cleans up okay but I didn't want to scrub it every week. This mat is exactly what I needed. Due to the texture of the shower floor, it moves around a bit but we don't care, it looks great and is comfortable. Bonus: to clean it, I simply put it in the top rack of the dishwasher!

I’m recovering well from a stroke but have never felt safe in the shower. In fact the various plastic ones I’ve tried are dangerous. This one is unslippable . Has totally firm suckers underneath. But the main safety feature is the wooden slats. Some might be put off concept of them feeling uncomfortable, Not so they are fine. I would have had a fall if it wasn’t for this mat. No sign yet of mould just hang it out to dry off. Frankly if it did get mouldy I’d just buy another one.
