I generally use the stylus in one hand and the fingers of my other hand to perform the desired task, be it typing or navigating around the web.I own 3 or 4 different brands of styluses ( or styli ) *** yeah, I looked it up in the Oxford dictionary. ;)They all have the familiar rubber tip which works OK but not great. For example, while playing a word game such as Boggle or PopWords! where it really is necessary to glide your stylus in different directions to make words. Well, the rubber tipped Styluses didn't always make good contact and the letter that was supposed to have been chosen, didn't register as it should have. The cause was a stylus tip that " stuck " to the tablet rather than glide smoothly across it. So, quite often, it was a hit or miss situation whether your word was completed or not.It got very frustrating at times so I decided to look for a better solution. I found it in the TruGlide Stylus!The " secret " of this stylus is the tip. It's not your ordinary run-of-the-mill tip. The TruGlide stylus features a Microfiber tip which truly does what its name implies: it TRULY GLIDES! And that makes all the difference in the world when using your tablet and especially, yup, especially, when playing those word games where the other styli would " hang-up ", this baby smoothly follows your set course so you can most definitely beat your previous score and better yet, beat your opponent. ( If they're still using the old-style styli or their fingers )So, in summary, I most definitely recommend the TruGlide to anyone who is currently using the old-fashioned type of stylus or to those folks who use their fingers only. I'm betting that you'll love it.Hey,and if,just if, for some reason it's not your style, just slide it back into its envelope ( oh yeah, I'm on a roll here ) and return it!MK,Brick, NJ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best stylus I've used, for the money or otherwise. *by M***H on April 17, 2015* I've used both the Pro and Clip style of the Lynktec TruGlide and vastly prefer this version.I've found that in using a dozen or so styli over the past few months I much prefer the feel of these style microfiber tips. Rubber tips are fine for just taping but after a week or so of use the coating degrades and it becomes incredibly tacky to the point of being useless for any kind of scrolling or swiping. Microfiber tips provide next to no resistance against the screen, are plenty accurate, and last much longer than others I've used.The most telling difference between this and the Pro version is the durability of the microfiber tip itself. Being roughly 2/3rds the length and maybe 4/5ths the width of its more expensive cousin the tip of the Clip stylus is much less prone to bending or warping. I found that after 20 minutes or so of use the tip of the Pro would gradually bend back even when using minimal pressure against the screen. After two weeks of continually straightening the tip by either flipping it or manually pushing it back to a neutral position it began to come out of its seat and fray on the edges. It was still usable but eventually caught on my bag and tore right off. In contrast I've used the Clip daily for the past month and have had children use it on multiple occasions and the tip is exactly the same as the day I got it.The machined holes for the grip are not particularly noticeable but definitely help, especially if your hands are even slightly oily.The titular Clip itself is my one complaint with this stylus. Any lateral pressure, such as contact with your hand, will easily cause the clip to pop completely out. After having to constantly reseat the clip I just left it out but having this big hole in the side wasn't great either.
