This was even better than expected. My horrible looking metal downspouts were in need of an upgrade, so before just replacing them, I thought I would try the look of a rain chain. After debating a long time over what 'style', I'm so happy I chose this. It has design without being over the top, which I didn't want, and it's very sturdy metal. Very easy to install and looks amazing. I felt like my house got an immediate upgrade in curb appeal. I can't speak to the use of it for rain quite yet as I have had rain, but not enough to really cascade down the chain in large amounts, but I have no doubt it will work wonderful.

We really like the rain chains; more appealing than downspouts, Fairly easy to install and they certainly direct the rain from gutter in a pleasing way.

Good design, but man are the materials low quality.

The rain flows down the chain, even when it is pouring. I had one with cups and one that spun, the monarch chain works better than those. It gives the rain something to flow down and not create a big mess.

This was the 2nd one we purchased It's easy to install and beautiful to watch when it rains. It moves the water just as we wanted it to.

I have a porch that, when it rains, gets drenched from the sides (it has a roof), so I decided to install gutters and this slender rain chain, not really wanting it to be big and obvious. But with the first rain the chain got quickly overwhelmed by the stream of water and it just splashed all over, defeating the purpose. Probably fine for minor rain flow, but for diverting any real rain away from a structure--not sure this fits the bill.

Very pleased with my purchase - it looks great. The price was very good and it looks fabulous on my house and does the job of elegantly capturing the rain.

When my house was built, both front and back eaves-troughs were piped to a storm sewer inlet pipe next to the house. The one from the back actually went into and through the house! I changed that with a new downspout at the back. Over time, the storm sewer pipe clogged up. Now the front eaves-trough lets rain come down the rain chain and water a big tree. It also looks nicer than the pipe.

I found I needed to do a small modification however as the rain was splashing off the top few chains - after I installed a little 2 foot cylinder it directs the water down pretty well now

I like the chain. It is my first installation. We need a bigger area of rocks around the base because when the wind blows it lands outside the area.
