Bare With Me Hydrating Jelly Primer, Vegan Face Primer

honestly an incredible primer i’m shocked! i break out from TONS of things and also have very dry skin. this not only makes my makeup look so dewy it SHINES on my very parched skin, but it doesn’t break me out as it has a super simple ingredient list and is silicon free :) i truly can’t recommend enough!! it comes with a decent amount of product too. found my new holy grail :D

I have combination skin and right now the dry areas were wrecking havoc on my makeup routine. I needed a primer for those areas bad as most of the ones I tried would work for a little bit and then...trash. This was a top recommendation on one of the beauty sites, the price was right and the reviews good so I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. My makeup has never looked better and my skin looks hydrated! After about 5 hours my face still looks good...can't wait to see what happens during the summer months. But for now it is a winner.

I got a sample of this primer with an ulta order and fell in love. I use it under powder and it stays in place all day. It helps with liquid foundation too. Its very lightweight and I love how the gel consistency pats on the skins surface. The jar is a horrible design, it makes it look like there is a lot more product than there really is and it's so bulky, takes up a lot of the makeup bag space.

It’s a clear water-based jelly and a little goes a long way. It’s so lightweight that at first, I didn’t think it would be effective, but I was wrong. My foundation spreads evenly on my face and stays on from 5:30 am until I take it off at 10 pm! I can’t say enough how much I love this primer!

Doesn't feel tacky on skin. My skin is combo leaning more towards dry. This dries my skin and makes my foundation look really textured. It also smells really strong like rubbing alcohol when you first put it on. Doesn't linger though.

They didn't have the usual primer I use. So I tried this. It's different. But it feel tight on my face so I like it. Not saying it erased fine lines because I don't really know. It is sticky, but after my usual face care it is not. I store my jar upside down and take what I need off the lid. Much easier.

Have you tried moisturizing primers only to be left disappointed because it wasn't or had a white ashy caste ? This one isn't that and I have at least 6 others on my make up stand. They can all go in the trash. I use this over my moisturizer. You have to let it dry ** It's not too sticky. You foundation will go on evenly, stay put and in this dry winter weather not look cracked or cakey. I use it all over my face including under the eye and eye lids. It's light, refreshingly cool when you apply it. Great price as well.
